"It belongs to my boy". Turner really did love Shawn as a son, I am sad 😭

No the pig stayed around til season 4/5. Jack has a problem with it much later on and the pig is HUGH.

@In Plain Sight same pig in show, most likely different pig in real life. Piglets do change color as the age esp depending on species.

Richard Karn knocked it out of the park as the Animal Control man, being both funny and not breaking character.

What a coincidence. This is almost what I said to my paternal sister's maternal brother: _"You're not just my sister's brother, you're my family too."_ He, however, disagreed. See, I overheard him tell _our_ sister he saw her stepmom, dad, and me as nothing but his sister's family; he didn't want to get to know us, just because we didn't technically relate to him in any way. I don't get it; why is being indirectly linked to someone through family underrated? Let me ask you guys something: he's not right, is he? It's not actually weird to interact with your half-sibling's family, is it?
@sandrellsnaturalworld48432 жыл бұрын
Not at all. Change is hard. Sometimes it just takes a while for people to adjust. All you can do is to continue to extend kindness to him and their family. Over time he may come around.

@@sandrellsnaturalworld4843 Congratulations! You passed the test. I'm the maternal brother we spoke of, not the paternal brother. Of course, I never displayed this disgusting "they're not my family" attitude. I made up most of the story to get a societal reaction out of people. The truth is, I started to wonder if my sister's dad, brothers, and stepmom thought little of me, since I wasn't related to them; that I was _just_ their relative's brother. Just a thought though; sometimes we get the wrong intuitions. It's just that I don't think they interacted with me so much when my mom picked up or dropped off my sister. Of course, my memory is vague and fuzzy and all. Now, don't think they ignored me or anything, because they are not awful or anything, and again, I don't trust my memory. It's just looking back, it _kinda_ feels like they didn't interact with me so much, and the only explanation I have is I was _just_ the maternal brother, no relation to them. Does this make sense so far?

Not at all. My baby sisters grandparents, Mimi and Pawpaw took our brother and I in as their own grandchildren. We were invited to all the family gatherings and even would spent the night with them.

@@_S.D._ that’s great. You gotta read the whole conversation though. You missed a very important fact
@shootingcomet0822 жыл бұрын
Edit: Its not weird to consider your step-sibling family, but its also not weird to not consider them family. You're the only one who can decide who your family is, just as they are the only ones who can decide who their family is. Family is not made by blood or marriage, but a mutual sense of kinship and love.
