You're that guy that thinks ur food comes from the grocery store!! Gotta pull the calves off so that the cows milk can be harvested & you have something to put on ur cereal & in ur coffee....

Thanks for your question Steve. They are taken away from the cows because the cows are a part of a milking herd and it’s not safe to keep them with the cow while also being in the milking herd. We can also give the calves much better care that way because they have virtually no immune system when born and are very susceptible to illness.
