Then after they finish ask them to repeat themselves from the beginning on the premise that you were talking when they started and didn't hear what they were saying. This will start to infuriate them after a while because most of the time they are not trying to have a conversation. They are simply trying to exert their authority and provoke you into getting angry or into otherwise providing them with justification to use force against you. When you calmly ask them to repeat themselves then you de-escalate the situation but that will still get under their skin.

Driving licence is nothing like a drone licence (operator ID). The "drone license" can be gained without any proof of competence, whereas a driving licence cannot. Part of the police drone team, not even correct about flying over private property 🙄
@chrisfs1502 жыл бұрын
So a drone liecense is like a warrant card? No formal training needed, no proof of competance needed, hey presto, here have a warrant card.. At least with a driving license an independent test is carried out....
@notmenotme6142 жыл бұрын
To get an Operator ID: No there’s no proof of competence To get a Flyer ID (which this size of drone doesn’t need): Yes you need to take a test on drone laws

Somebody in 'authority' should make plod aware that there is no such thing as 'police property'. They are provided with buildings and equipment to use by the taxpayers. They do NOT own anything. Not the land, buildings, cars, helicopters, guns, uniforms or anything else.

My thoughts too,how can publicly funded buildings etc be deemed private when it suits them
@leathleyg59952 жыл бұрын
@@silverstreetmoto1458 The public doesn't legally own it. You might think that morally, you can go anywhere you want on land and property that's maintained and funded from the public purse. Sadly, real life isnt like that, there's a registered owner, - the police, so its considered private. Its not when it suits, its all the time.
@patrolmanracv2 жыл бұрын
@@leathleyg5995 the police do not privately own the stations or the land or anything associated with policing ..it is all supplied by the public .policing itself is at the publics pleasure and only allowed by the public to actually do their job ..they are public servants ..public land is owned by the public
@leathleyg59952 жыл бұрын
@@patrolmanracv That sounds so "sovereign citizen".... And as such ...totally wrong. Do a check, a Land Registry search. You will find that the legal owners of police stations are the local Police Commissioners Office, not the general public. They're classed as private property, the public's access is via a permission, not by a granted right. Trespass can be enforced by any police employee on police property, not that they're always aware of it though.

Why would you fly your drone over police installations/buildings ? What is the point ? We all know that coppers know shit about drone legislation so why get involved in some unnecessary and time consuming argument ? I would think, and I am a drone pilot too, that most pilots try to stay well away from people in general and the police in particular when flying their drones.

But why do you feel it necessary to fly over a police station just so that you can attract attention to yourself and provoke a row with a police officer? Yes, we all know you are technically in the right, but all you do is to paint all drone operators in a bad light - hastening the time the laws will get even tighter for us. Suggestion - why don't you take your drone to North Korea to fly it? I would be happy to join in a whip- round for your plane fare!
