It's a shame that Ramsey will take a stand against timeshares and students loans, but won't take a stand against MLMs. There is so much proven data to show how scummy MLMs are, but I'm sure a lot of Dave listeners are mlmers as well, so I doubt they'll risk alienating the audience

Yes, finally a couple my husband and I can relate to. We have been married 45 years and unfortunately we made many bad decisions about borrowing money for all 4 of our rentals ( 2 are pd for now), taking out a heloc to remodel our home, not hiring a financial advisor to guide us as our family owned carpet cleaning business grew these last 39 years; taking out a Universal Life policy for a measly $60,000 on my husband and &25,000 on me, financing a 2017 pickup ( 1st thing we pd off in baby step 2). My husband is 74 and disabled and I’m 67 . At our ages we are thinking the best way for us to get 100% debt free ( including our $1000 a month home mortgage) is to sell 3 of our rental properties and remodel one of the nicer houses so we can raise the rent.(pay cash of course). 6:16 Seeing this couple getting debt free gives me hope🙂

@@myoldvhstapes That's not true. Timeshare Exit is being countersued by the skeezy timeshare companies they are trying to get customers out of contracts. Dave is no longer advertising for them because Timeshare Exit has a majority of their funds wrapped up in litigation and cannot afford the advertising fees.

Can anyone tell me if there is a Ramsey show/clip where him or his colleagues tackle the issue of "enjoying" living check to check too much? Cuz that's where I've been at for close to a decade now. This kind of lifestyle just gives me a rush that I don't get from any other source (other than exercise and e-sports). Also, is there any Ramsey content that focuses on the feelings of shame for being in debt? I got tons of debt and it makes me feel like I'm not responsible and don't deserve anything good.
