Thanks for the video! I am overwhelmed trying to sell my collection of forty. They've been packed away in boxes in my closet for the better part of ten years. Your video helped ease some of the anxiety I was feeling on where to start. Especially since I found I had some rare pops.

the big problem with Mercari is that they want to charge $4.99 almost on everything, even if it isn’t worth it if you know your Pop prices. I was just checking at King Cold Pop and they want to sell for over $15 with those shipping costs, it’s $10.81 at Walmart guys! Damn! Patience is what I say and eBay.

Mercari #1 IMO for online sales...local is the best for the buck ...but as u say safety and customer base is so much smaller ..Great Video 💯

This was an awesome video very informational. I enjoy selling and my local Facebook groups and to local collectors I think is my favorite making friends in the community. Also with KZbinrs and getting to know different KZbinrs in trading and selling with them is also really fun. Make a lot of friends and things like that with this community it's like a family. I've always thought about this... What type of collecting or collector should I be... The kind who buys all the hyped stuff and sells it for profit... Or buy pops because of just wanting to have pieces of my childhood in pop form never looking to sell.

Imho, buy for yourself. The collecting will be much more enjoyable. Later down the line if you decide there are ones you dont like or want anymore, see what you can get for those.

The biggest thing to me is Whatnot authenticity guarantee u don't have to worry about buying a fake ever that's there main guarantee and after spending 100's of hours searching to find fake vs real comparison.... Whatnot is improving fast very fast love them for buying and selling, love Mercari for selling and buying, love EBay for buying... and great topic yo for a video thinking outside the box....keep it up..

Thank you for this video! I was interested in trying whatnot but I ran into the whole address thing as well and was super uncomfortable with putting my home address. Has anyone ever purchased from whatnot? If so, when you receive the pop does it show that it comes from whatnot and not the specific seller?

I believe this is how they do it, they have you ship it to their warehouse and they verify the item and then ship it to the customer after!

SkittleRampage I wonder when they ship to the customer if the return address would show as mine or if it would show as Whatnot? I guess if my return address only shows my address to the people at whatnot, I wouldn’t mind it. But if I ship it to whatnot and then they ship it to the customer with my return address, then pass on that. Also, just wanted to say that I just found your channel and it’s awesome! I love your personality and can’t wait to watch your channel continue to grow.

If you just email them, they will totally help you out and input your P.O. Box for you on their end! They did it for me super fast and easy. So you don't even have to worry about the return address situation.

If you try to sell a whole collection you'll get significantly less money than taking the time to sell them individually and maximizing profit.
