You Should Buy Physical Games. Here's Why...

Yeah i usually go to get physical games myself. If your account gets deleted lost or stolen you basically lost it all. My switch for example. Sure i got the micro sd card to get a bunch of games for cheap on e shop but that's only when i can't find the physical copy. When it's available i make my way to GameStop or something to pick up the game.

Physical games are the only reason I wish I still was a console gamer. Anything older than 360/PS3 I'll get the original release physically otherwise I just get it on PC.

I dislike live service games too. If you are someone that enjoys the online multi player it only lasts so long. The game should be played on base or solo with the wifi or online systems being a bonus to what is already there. It's why i love rpg games most as they are mostly just solo and don't get affected by outside sources much aside probably dlc as we are seeing with the online being dropped for 3ds systems

For me, it depends on the platform. If I'm buying console games, I will always try to get physical copies if they're available, but if I'm buying PC games, usually I'll get it from Steam or GOG. Though to be fair, physical PC games are already dead, so I don't really have much choice for new games. The only time I have bought digital copies of console games that had physical releases was during 2020, and that was just because of the pandemic. Anyway, pour one out for Fuser.

RIP Fuser :( Never got a physical release at all, which sucks! I'm in the same boat with PC games! Steam being so cheap and PC games being so easily archiveable make it a lot easier for preservation than console!

@@DanRockProductions Fuser was such a good game. It sucks that the only way for people to play it now is through piracy, especially with customs taking off.
