2:15 Unfortunately, in private space you don't get any notifications from the apps stored there. That's annoying if you regularly need notifications from banking or shopping apps. I would like to hide these apps there, but without notifications it's no use to me.

Certain older games will malfunction if you disable frame rate limit. For example Castlevania SOTN will run too fast if its forced to 120hz as that game was designed for 60hz specifically.

I have no idea why, but I did a clean flash of the full firmware, flashing all partitions and now it doesn't do the automatic lowering of volume and trying to tell me I'm damaging my hearing. Drastic measure to take I know, but it has worked.

I've updated to Android 15 on my Pixel 7, but I can't see anything new. One issue I've noticed is that the clock widget no longer fits next to my weather widget. I've had to shrink it quite a bit to make it fit where I want it.

Motorola invented that docking feature and still provides in their Edge series and above. I am currently using Pixel but also have used various Motorolas made by original Motorola company, Google and Lenovo. I would say they are better alternatives to Pixels with better hardware choices over these mediocre Exynos fry-pans sold in the name of Pixels.

A question... how can you erase your phone or access the stolen phone if the person who steals it turns off mobile data and wifi. They can be turned off with the phone locked. For example, with Samsung, if the phone is locked and you want to turn off mobile data or Wi-Fi, you need to unlock the phone first.

It actually makes a protocol for that Device whenever that device's security is Bypassed in any way the last command you gave will be executed which is to erase the data you had on your phone you can do that on iphones also but there is no direct way to do it like they introduced in pixels you need multiple softwares to do that some of them cost money and some of them are actually scams so instead of keeping your data safe those softwares can access your data themselves so if a phone manufacturer is providing this feature from their side this will be more secure than those softwares

Well, doesn't feel that much different here in Canada, but, I like the Pixel drops tbh. I am trying to use the Pixel 9 to its max level, just to see how it fares in day to day use, most emphasis on the camera performance! Wish we can see the adaptive charging feature comes soon, which is I guess in Dec 2024, where you can only charge your phone till 80%, best for people who forget to take off the charger Thanks for all the vids. really informative.

Just set an alarm in the morning and have adaptive charging on. I leave my phone on charge overnight and have 91% on my P6 Pro after all these years. The phone won't charge to 100% until it's time for your alarm.

@@ruffmadman true they will steal any phone , but the chances of someone who has an iPhone has a much higher chance of their phone being stolen versus someone with a pixel phone or android phone. especially in the US where majority have iPhones and use apple devices. Where i live in NYC in the street corners people selling apple products. Could be fake or stolen but still it's an apple product they're trying to sell not an android device. Plus Android devices lose their value very quickly compared to iPhones .
