Don't get me wrong, most of the time producing and recording vids is very fun for me. But in the last week or two I've been in a huge rut haha. Most people use that as an excuse. We can't be that person bro.

fax, ive been producing a year and looking at all my past project files, ive improved tons just being being in the daw and learning one new thing every day or two and applying it has really helped me improve in ways i didnt realize til i started doing them naturally/subconsciously

Came across you're channel during toilet time, and you deserve a sub my friend... From going through ''Writers block'' myself currently to ''Overthinking my production skills'' after watching 3 of you're videos I now have the most motivation to do music that ANY other creator has given me. So respect for that broski!!!! Keep up the good work. 20K LOADINGGGGG ‼📈

Today, because of this video, I actually pushed through and made a track that is better than my previous tracks. I got better at producing and my creativity was actually thriving, even after I had no idea what to do. I was so consumed with the piano roll and every time I just did a simple midi and moved on, but this time I did a midi that I could actually turn into a song. Thank you for this video boy, I wish you to keep pushing yourself because you don't help just yourself, you help others as well.

tl:dr (as a psychology student): this is literaly the fastet way to kill passion and enjoyment. But also the most consistent strategy to improve on smth (skill, career etc). Do what serves you but keep in mind this can and will most definetly lead to burnout in the long run.

That was deep. I guess we can't have it all...since we either choose something as a Passion or a Career. I'm currently learning the ins and outs of Music Production and hopefully planning on releasing professionally made music in the future, as well as making my own songs. I definitely don't plan on making a career out of it so I just have to find a reasonable moderation of focus on music. It's also so that my hobby stays a passion and doesn't feel like a job.
