Whenever I go to the gym while I have been moderately sick it feels as though whatever I am down with gets worse the next day but there is a chance I was going too hard in the past. I think if you are going to a public gym while you're sick you should wear a mask to diminish the chances of it spreading to others.

well, mask gives you nothing so either dont go around 5 pm or go to less crowded gym or train somewhere else :)

@@juchaseu9663 It protects others which in turn protects you because it dampens the likelihood of other people getting sick but I agree go to a less crowded gym or at a less crowded time if possible or just do something else physical that day but not demanding.

Call me weak and lazy (you'd be right on both) but I just can't agree with this on any level. You'll be exposing other people to your viruses/bacteria needlessly, your training will be too light to make progress, and you run the risk of prolonging or worsening your disease. There's plenty of time during the year to train. If you're sick take that week or two to rest, get well and at the most go out for walks and some sunlight.

Everyone should beware of potential sick people in public gyms, wash your hands and don't touch your face. If you're sick it's not illegal to lift just be extra sanitary and stay away from people. The one time I got covid I'm pretty sure it was from the gym and I was wearing a mask (school rules)

Reduced intensity training when sick has such a profound effect on shortening your sick time and the outlook for the sickness. Unless you’re needing the hospital, get outside and walk. Then build from there. Day 1 of being sick minimum: walk around the block. Bundle up if it’s cold. Day 2 minimum: walking + low intensity bodyweight movements at home (push ups on the bed frame or stairs to keep your head elevated, walking lunges, assisted pull ups). Repeat above until better. When you get back to the gym, take it nice and easy the first few days. Bam. You’re better and back to training. Too many people think being sick means they HAVE to stay in bed all day. That will only prolong your illness. This is all operating under the assumption that your being sick does not require a doctor/ hospital visit.

I’ve always believed that moderately exercising even when you’re feeling a little sick does wonders. Thanks for the data to back it up. I just wanted to nitpick at 1:02 - isn’t the skin the largest organ in the body?

Will. If I was you, I'd get into boxing. You're strong enough now, explosive enough now, go any further and you're reaching the point that Goku said not to reach. You COULD get stronger, you COULD get bigger, but there's a weakness in that form. If I was you, I'd trade Juggernaut work for explosive punching power, speed work and ESPECIALLY stamina work. Then go to your local boxing gym and brutalize some men in sparring. Get a manager like Mick for Rocky lol. Go terrorize the amateur circuit for about ten fights. Go pro and be hailed as the Great White Hope. But that's just me.

@@pistolpete7777 Personally my thoughts with no offense meant: waste of manliness anyone can get big muscles and lift big weights if they train, but that's wasting his athleticism which is a core component of Will. He's an athlete, not a mere bodybuilder/weightlifter. Basically I want to see him in battle somewhere, NFL, boxer, something like that. Just my opinion

@@mark-f4e6kmy dude, he was literally in the NFL already. He played for the Falcons and the Chiefs, as well as semi pro leagues. Go look it up..also, yes, he could probably pick up boxing pretty well. But at the highest levels of pro boxing they've been doing that their entire life. It's not something someone can just pick up in their 30s and have high hopes for. Sure, there are some 30 something year olds in the regional pro circuits who do ok but none of them make it to the big ppv shows.
