I was born in Manhattan. I grew up in Manhattan and on Long Island. I lived in Manhattan for almost 40 years. There's no F&*@%ing way you can have a car chase in Midtown for 10 minutes, let alone 2 hours. There are police and police cars everywhere. There are cameras everywhere. There's always so much traffic, it can take you 30 minutes to go 8 blocks in a car. It's faster walking to get somewhere. There's too many pedestrians Midtown. You'd be knocking them over like whack-a-mole. And trust me, as a New Yorker, you'd piss off all of them and they'd all be dialing 911 to get your ass arrested in a New York minute! Where are all the social media postings from New Yorkers who "witnessed" this. New Yorkers whip out their phones faster than the paparazzi. If the taxi driver gave some contrary report that it was not a chase. Fine. In his home country, breaking traffic rules, is like any day at the beach. And obedience of all things regarding vehicular traffic is a foreign thing to him. He is used to true chaos if you have ever seen or used their roads in his part of the world. So with this mindset what happened to them both is just ordinary. The cab driver who drove them said there was no high speed chase and it was an exaggeration on Harry and Meghan's part. Also, it is near impossible to have a high-speed chase for two hours in Manhattan near Times Square. And if this did happen the NYPD would of been all over it and arrests would of been made and there would of been numerous injuries.
