19:31 what people don't know, ASMR isn't what's helping people sleep. It's noise right? Turn on your TV, doesn't matter what it is. Show, movie, podcast, whatever. I always found it strange that ASMR became a thing, when you could already do this process. Falling asleep to background noise. I've done it for years. Just turn something on, set up the sleep timer on the TV, and off you go. Even easier, just turn on a fan or something.

That Brazilian comment was something else. He stressed that it is not self pity. Just to then expand upon the point by describing - in great detail - that it is overcompensation, a bad attitude, a bad environment, everyone else's fault AS WELL as self pity.

Switching weapon to left hand would change 1st person shadow, which mean they would be different from 3rd person shadow. So from there I see only 4 options: don't change the shadow at all (it would look kinda silly but why not), 1st person shadow is different than 3rd person shadow (people would complain "they see my shadow but on my screen the shadow wasn't there"), match the two shadows (it would look silly because shadow would move without changing model and everybody would need to optimize their hand shadow when peeking), make an actual hand changing animation and adapt the 3rd person model (more realistic but people would need to optimize their hand model + shadow when peeking) Why did I even write all this shit, I need a life

Banger episode rich❤️ I want to add some context about the cheating in cs. I watch all ur vids and agree with ur opinions on the cs cheating. I dont think people play against Cheaters every game. I play less cs nowadays and only play sometimes so om not as good anymore but still okay, Im hovering 20k. The last games in premier aswell as competetive (which doesnt have rank) i have met a cheater 50-70% of games. I took your advice and just muted the game and watched youtube. Im not sure if its worse right now in cs2 but it is very prevalent. Dont really care that much though im growing away from cs anyways and just love to watch ur content ripping on the cs and esports scene❤️
@dp2k00
@dp2k00 10 ай бұрын
he's absolutely right about the brainmelts saying "oh there are cheaters in every match", they're clearly wrong and nobody takes them seriously except for a small fraction of people who should be ignored anyways. But he doesn't stop there, he also calls people braindead redditors who say cs2 has a cheating problem that's never been this bad before, and what's even worse he treats them as if they're the same people who say they have a cheater every game. He just uses those dumb people and their extreme comments to justify shitting on those who are being more realistic about it and saying cs2 has a cheating problem Even in this video, he's showcasing that scout 1v5 clip as if it was an argument that people overreact and calls everyone a cheater. Those are NOT the same people, yet he always just lumps them together as a collective and only reply to the extremely stupid claims. Even if I'm being generous, I come across a rage hacker every 3 games at 15k elo, which is like top12% or even worse. How is that an acceptable statistic for Richard to justify Valve? Maybe it's not as bad as having a cheater every game, but it's also the lowest point ever for the game, so people saying cs2 has a cheating problem are not degenerate redditors as he says and he never address this in a fair manner. This all sucks so much because he's one of the best journalists but if you disagree with him on this you're just gonna be a mentally ill redditor in his eyes, it's actually surreal, it's like being a fan of some celebrity who's a great person, kind etc. then they randomly start mumbling about scientology

51:20 I agree that you'd be devoid of empathy not to be disgusted by the acts of Hamas on october 7th. I just hope Richard is of the opinion (I think he is) that Israel's response breaches international law (targeting churches, hospitals, journalists) and is ovjectively an apartheid state. Pro-Hamas is ludicrus. Pro-Israel, given the history, is just as bad if not worse.

Hello Richard, I really enjoy your content and I also enjoy cs2. I mainly play faceit but once in a while I will soloQ premier (22.5k elo) and the last 5 games I have played there have been spinbotters from warmup. Playing a match without cheaters is rare. Before 20k+ elo there were barely any cheaters and if there are they were “legit” or only wallhacking. It’s really bad and you have to stick to matchmaking or faceit if you want to avoid a cheater every 4/5 games

Bro, why does everyone try to microanalyze everything on the internet. That dude sounded like a fucking psychopath. Here’s my ultimate word on it, while yes there are nuances that height of game play do effect understanding the way they interact in the game…but you’re not doing that though. The stuff you analyze and talk about, doesn’t require a pro level achievement of skill to recognize. Not only that, look at how many pros in games have the most ridiculous, inaccurate takes on what’s going on in the game they play. Level of skill doesn’t always equate with a 1:1 ratio of analysis. These guys are wild dude, love the use of lmao as well.
@pepsusser
@pepsusser 10 ай бұрын
A lot of what richard ends up talking about is just people being dumb anyways. This isn't exclusive to any game. Most journalists could probably cover any game because there's always dumb people doing dumb stuff which requires little to no knowledge to talk about. I find it funny the cs crowd always say he doesn't know anything, when he only talks about cs more because of his familiarity with it

More than 30000 Palestinians have died in Gaza, hospitals bombed, Palestinians being prevented from receiving humanitarian aid... come on Richard, this isn't just a "response". This is genocide.
