Deaths are also likely inflated, since the virus is higher risk to older age groups. (It can be hard to identify the cause of death) However, despite all of this it still wouldn’t make the pandemic any less of an issue.

Unfortunately, and admittedly I don't watch a lot of cable news, her interviews seem like she's not prepared for the obstinance she's guaranteed to face. So instead of pre-prepping and knowing how to direct the interview and kinda 'lead the witness' she takes the equally obstinate, "I don't buy that" response. Maybe that helps show she's not going to be pushed around but it also shows a lacking of skill as a debater. I am an accountant and my wife is a medical doctor. I talk about economic impact of COVID19 and she talks about health concerns of COVID19 every day. According to my wife, this virus is so unknown that no one can tell what kind of impact this virus would have in later days. Chip Roy said COVID19 killed less than flu, but is he sure if those who survived will not have any long term effects? Does he have any data to support this corona virus does less damage than flu? I don't think so (no one has it). So parents! are you willing to bet on this man's "less dangerous than flu" theory? And who does take care of these children? their parents, grand parents, relatives, and teachers, and they are not teenagers, you know. Also, why can't these people admit there will not be no returning to normal without containing this virus. How much did we spend on stimulus and PPP and unemployment benefit? if we spent 1/100 of this money on masks and public education, we would have been a lot better place than we are now.

Do you, and your wife talk about how our leader is a 10yr old loser, who only cares about himself? He knew months ago, but will go on TV today and day it's a hoax, or it'll just go away. I mean from the looks we won't be back to normal at least 4 more years sad to say, but the crisis we're going thru, it won't matter they love his dirty, evil drawers. And they know he doesn't care about anyone. He has 82 million cult followers. So I doubt he'll be voted out, so I'm getting even closer to God. Because people will get desperate, and fed up. It's going to be so much killing, and people starving, looting ect. Aka end of times just like Revelation speak of. It's all happening as we speak. God bless you and your family, take care.

Your truth is lost in the din of their noise unfortunately. While many know for a fact that we dont know the long term affects of this virus novel as it is, there are some startling signs it is worse than these props are telling. Recovered patients getting reinfected ... Children have been severely affected.... Patients who have recovered are not back to 100%.... Lung scarring..... Pulmonary issues.... Other organs being affected.... Maybe you wife can inform me but I am not convinced that "herd immunity" cannot be achieved. I do think that is what the administration opted for, but it is only a guess of course. I am a layman who has turned to long haul trucking at 55 (59 now) and travel deep into the US. As a neighbor and a partner I can say we are very concerned.
