I wish the same thing but the producers thought that voight had to pay for killing Kevin. They even let Alvin pick the way he died on the show. That's why there wasn't a big scene when they found out he was dead. Alvin wasn't a very emotional man so he didn't think his death should be that dramatic

L.S Tesla she won’t the actress Sophia Bush wanted to leave the show. She was fed up with Beghe’s difficult behavior and at times abusive behavior on set along with ready to move on to other projects. Bush said once why she left in a interview and quoted as saying “It was a consistent onslaught barrage of abusive behavior,” she had said about the demands of the show working conditions and physical side of it. She quit in 2017 when the show runner Matt Olmsted stepped down as was extremely burnt out after 4 years on the show.

@I’d Like to eat blades of grass it’s not that bad only Sophia Bush was making statements of abuse of power by producers and felt star Jason Beghe had a lot of anger issues and was verbally abusive. She was fed up with long filming schedules and cold weather in Chicago. I am sure other actors would have all left by now if didn’t like being on show. Sophia Bush has quit two tv shows in her career due to problems on set and burn out with wanting to move on.
