I’ve reached what I call middle age and have decided I’m to old to wear the skinny jeans and leggings that I’ve always worn and I came across your videos and love your causal style so went thrifting yesterday brought home 5 large bags for try on ended up couple neat pairs of pants one Chico lose fit jean and one army green with couple of tee’s one stripped one graphic and couple cardigans, I’ll be binge watching until I’ve watched all your videos. Thank you.

Hi Kristen. I love your style and your thrifting finds. (Love that sweater you’re wearing) I retired a few years ago and I am in the process of culling my closet for the me that I am now. I notice there seems to be more color in your closet. I notice that you love stripes. I want to thank you because I too love stripe tops. My issue was I always thought for some reason that I should only have 1 or 2 in my closet. You have enlightened me. Now, if I see a stripe top that I really love, I feel free to add it to my wardrobe. Your advice has proved invaluable to me. Thank you!

I never want to judge anyone based on what they wear. I'm feeling less inclined to add pieces in order to build my confidence. That comes from within and I will wear my "lazy go-tos" happily because imo they are comfort. The clothing I reach for consistently is a good thing. I never view it as "lazy". It's what works and makes me happy.

Great comment! That's because your 'lazy' go-to items are authentic for you and your current style. It doesn't sound like you feel that you're 'settling' when wearing those pieces. You don't have drama around those things because they are in alignment with your intentional style. 🙌

In one of your videos you paired a cream sweater over a white long skirt and that was my moment …I recognized that is my look..I have lots of dresses and now I will wear a sweater or tee over my dresses to have a more casual look. I love dresses and feel like my most authentic self. Thank you
