They talk about no contact to the head, but every single tackle in the nrl has the ball runner getting his head pushed and elbowed into the turf. That was a good lesson for Walker. Either he has to put on some more muscles if he wants to use that tackling technique or get lower and chop those backrowers in half. All backrowers got a little bit of grub for playmakers it's part of the game, the great playmakers find a way to overcome this.

If you can't tell the difference between someone raising their arms up as they run, and someone, who as they land on the ground purposefully jams their elbow forward into someones head with intent, that is on you. I get its a rough game and the elbows while running isn't great especially when it cops someone in the throat or head, but this one is worse, and we have seen him do it a few times before.

As an amateur even I had body awareness of what my body in relation to the attacker or defending player was doing. 100% Kaufusi knew what he was doing. He did a similar thing against the Warriors last year. It happens a lot during games, but him and Tariq Sims are especially dangerous. Last year or 2020 Tariq drove his shoulder into the debuton halfback's head and drove him into the ground. The kid went off and Tariq was made a hero of because he went up to the kid to see if he was alright after the game. I think it was a Rooster.?
