Love the video, love the recipes. But what I really came on here for is to thank Steven for taking his hat off at the table. It's becoming a lost art to show such manners. Thank you Steven it's show you were raised right.
@rickmiller42026 ай бұрын
Agreed. The one that really irks me are men, or women, in a restaurant wearing hats. Who raised you? smh
@brendabrasher19716 ай бұрын
Yes. When my grandson played travel ball, I always reminded him to take his hat off when going for after-game eats. It is a forgotten good manner.

When using a rotisserie chicken, put the chicken in a gallon zippy bag, close, then roll it around on the counter for a bit, kind of like kneading dough. Open the bag, pick out the bones, and no mess! 😊

I keep forgetting that trick! I saw an Instagram reel about it and keep meaning to try it. Thanks for the reminder!

Any time! I sent that one and some others on another video a while ago, but you were busy. I love the Common Tater and your Tater Tot (I guess it's Tater Teen now 🤔), and of course Gracie Lou. My first cat loved it when I made something with Sweetened condensed milk. I would put a tiny bit on my finger and she would get so excited and start purring so fast and hard she would squeak!!

What is Elote? The world “elote” means “corn cob” in Spanish, and Mexican Elote is grilled corn on the cob slathered in a mayo cream sauce and garnished with chili powder, cheese and lime. Elotes (and esquites) are as commonly sold from street carts in Mexico as hot dogs are in Manhatten

Love most all your videos. Your beautiful, and fun, and not afraid to be yourself. Changing recipes is common at our house. Everyone tells me how picky I am, not picky, just like what I like. Get over it. Love Gracie Lou. I’m a cat mama. She’s 16 years old, and we’ve had her since about 2 to 3 weeks old. We re Rescued her from back yard. Long story. I’ve tried your Goulash, delicious. My husband of 60 years is not picky. Eats what’s on table, ever complains. But I like one dish suppers, he doesn’t complain. Love you and Steven together. You all are so cute together. Keep up “good time” together. Keep smiling every day.😊

I made both the BLT chicken salad and the Korean ground beef stirfry this week. They were both fantastic. I am a diabetic so I am always looking for low carb recipes. The chicken salad was absolutely delicious. For the Korean stirfry, I substituted a sugar-free sweetener for the brown sugar, and I added mushrooms to it. My husband raved about how delicious it was.

Made the Fiesta Chicken Thighs today, and wow were they good! Ever since you posted this recipe I’d been looking for those Bush beans, just found them the other day. We travel full time in our RV, and I’d been looking all over the north and west trying to find them. Figured I’d have to wait til we got on our layover in TN, our home state, and right down the road from Bush Beans, to find the, but while shopping in Indiana my husband went on the hunt for them, and waa laa, he found them!

All of these dinners look amazing, I will be pinning them. I know y’all like spice and when I saw the Tabasco sauce I wanted to tell you that when you pop popcorn to sprinkle Tabasco sauce on your popcorn and shake it up. You don’t want to much to where it’s soggy but man is it good. I have always used regular Tabasco but I’m sure you can use any of the Tabasco sauces. Try it. ❤

There’s an easy and fast way to debone a rotisserie chicken. Put the chicken in a gallon ziplock bag while it’s still warm. Massage the chicken. The meat comes off the bones very easily and your hands aren’t covered in grease. 😊

Ok, Velveeta was a result of WW1, trying to feed both troops & home cheaply. Popularity really took off in WW2 as an inexpensive shelf stable portable way to feed our troops. Then in the 50's it really took off at home. There aren't any homes in Louisiana that haven't known Velveeta since. YES more recipes please. While I like the tooth & mouth feel of traditional cheeses Velveeta has a definite place in my heart.
