11:42; Far out, I'm sorry mate. This story's genuinely angering, cats are adaptable hunters, relocating ferals is the _dumbest_ idea one could possibly have, they should have been exterminated. And this coming from a bloke who loves cats.

We have taken them to way too many places, as we have foxes and pigeons. All bad ideas. Rats and roaches just came with us.

Ah yes the ''orcs are a racist depiction of black people'' crew or the ''you should have to pay more than 60$ for a game'' clowns, yeah no thank you, if they can fuck up talking about games then I can't imagine them not fucking up or trying to push some bullshit with their history or mythology focused channels.

Well the Tapir wasn't associated with the Baku per say, as the trunked quadripedal dream eating Baku had already been imagined in Japan's EXTENSIVE Yokai collective bestiary. But when Japanese people first encountered a Tapir, they recognized it as basically a mundane and real Baku. Like how European explorers labeled the Komodo as a dragon. Thank Suede for the history lesson.

Plus, the Chinese called it the Mo and the Koreans called it the Pulgasali. It not only ate dreams, it also ate copper and iron while still having the capacity to chow down on whole mountains. It just prefers dreams, copper, and iron.

Hint: we managed to domesticate wolves, but not African wild dogs. And the dogs are from our hood. That should say all you need to know as to why not to pet them.

That's because Eurasian peoples were smarter than African peoples. There is a reason why humans only really started civilization and domestication of other animals AFTER they left Africa. It is highly likely that the thought of domesticating wild dogs for personal use wasn't even considered let alone thought possible. The only African civilization that cropped up first was Egypt and that was founded by people in North Africa who are vastly different and closer genetically to Europeans and Middle Eastern people than they are to sub-Saharan Africans. Africa despite being the point of human origin has ALWAYS been behind in terms of human progression and the development of powerful societies.

had something similar happen, we had these cotten tails move in a good while back and for years we had their family wandering in and out of our yard, then a few ferals moved in and the cotten tails never returned even after the cats where driven off

The mention of pigs becoming wild boars . God pigs can go feral, FASTz. I like ive heard within month of a pig escaping a farm they start growing hair like a boar would and drops nearly all domesticated behaviors pigs have in captivity. PIGS are insanely good at going back to full feral and since we have bred farm hogs to be absolutely massive for meat production when farm pigs escape and go feral the resulting future generations are monster size wild boar that will absolutely wreck your shit. And wild boar are aggressive and violent as hell and you better home you are packing some serious heat if you run into one becsuse well boar don’t like to go down easy. I’d honestly say in a lot of the south wild boar is possibly the most dangerous thing you can possibly hunt and yes I am including gators. Seriously, Boss is right wild boar are an absolute nusance in terms of just fucking shit up indiscriminately and the scary part is as mentioned just how insanely fast they go from domesticated to back to feral and how few generations it takes to the offspring being indistinguishable to wild boar Hogs are mimics they stay all docile and all tame when in pens but once they are out just transform into their true form.

There was this one time when my dad and his father where hunting wild boar in the outback and they pretty much shot one nearly point blank in the HEAD and the damn thing didn’t even slow down. Wild boar are tough sons a bitches.
