I think further proof that Talos could've succeeded is he isn't even the only person in Elder Scrolls history to achieve a form of godhood. Mannimarco managed to achieve apotheosis during the Warp in the West and I do believe we see the God of Worms' influence via the Shade of the Revenant. so if a lich can manage it, it's not far-fetched to imagine someone with the blood of dragons flowing through his veins can do much the same thing.

Talos aka Tiber Septim aka Hjalti Early-Beard. A Half-Breton Half-Nord born as both Dragonborn and Shezzarine. Tutored by Wulfharth the Ash King former High King of the Nordic Empire. Talos divinity was destined yet it would be fully sealed during the events of the Warp in the West. Where Talos, Wulfharth, Zurin Arctus, and King Lysandus of Daggerfall collectively experienced a Aetherial Apotheosis into the being we know as Talos.

This video is good, although lacking in some of the bigger lore details. Which is fine, it’s more of a primer. But it doesn’t go into his usage of the Numidium to brutally dominate the Elves of Summerset. His usage of CHIM on Cyrodil and how it may be the real way he achieved Godhood. Or how in some sources it’s implied that the assassin that killed the previous Emperor and slit his throat was not actually an assassin and may have actually been Talos himself and him slitting his own throat was a way to deflect blame. If you believe that.

Yeah, I definitely recommend checking out the follow-up episode. This video presents the generally accepted understanding of Tiber Septim and his reign known by the common Imperial citizen...propaganda included. There's a lot of additional details that rather significantly muddy the waters regarding what actually went on, particularly in regards to his origins, his conquests of Morrowind and the Summerset Isles, and the (very complicated and confusing) circumstances behind his ascension.

a bit off topic but whenever in Skyrim i encounter Stormcloaks i want to ask them: "By kicking out the Empire out of Skyrim, that would be weakening the Empire that was brought to it's height under Talos' rule, how would Talos feel about this? To degrade what he worked so hard to achieved? Why not join me, make an alliance with the empire in secret, call off this war and start building up our strength so we can take the fight to the Admeri Dominion, more specifically, those Damned Thalmor! That way we can get rid of the White Gold Concordant all together!" But then again, those Stormcloaks are not very good thinkers/are dumb/major s'wits, so i would not be suppressed if they refuse my offer.

His conquest of cyrodiil was justified because of elder scrolls online after the reman empires fall all of tamrielle was in chaos and cyrodiil was under attack from the worthless aldmeri dominion lead by the high elves and the greedy ebonheart pact lead by the tribunal and jorunn skald king who was a good nord high king but his allies would have betrayed him and the argonians who worked with him and the daggerfall covenant who although had a good leader was too prideful to command the other provinces and between them opportunistically trying to take over for selfish and biased reasoning and the daedra running rampant this foo had to put them all in their place
