Right on - ya, it's funny how some of the effects in AE sit there for a long time until something clicks and you realize what they'd be useful for. Part of why I like watching Jake in Motions Effects of AE series, just to see everything with fresh eyes.

There's so many ways to combine and tweak effects in after effects, it makes Photoshop look kind of simple and uncool by comparison. Makes me wish I got into this program more.
