Wow so inspirational! Great first podcast! Keep it coming! Love it! I think one of the things that people don't realize that is we look for the bruises on abuse not the emotional and mental which starts first. My daughter got involved with the wrong person and she got out of it, became a detective and worked with crimes against children. I never grew up around that so I was not educated to see the signs right away. But once I did I did everything to help her out of it and prayed for my granddaughter who came out of this relationship that she would never go towards that. So far she is 20 and has been away from her father for 6 years at least and wants no part of this. Thank you so much for developing this podcast and I know you will help others.!😊❤

Oh…Katie. You re so lucky to have this mama. She gave you GREAT tools from the get go. I was raised with a VERY old fashioned mom that didn’t teach boundaries. That did not serve me well. Great first podcast you two. Looking forward to more❣️

I absolutely loved this episode! It's lovely to meet you, Sue! I love that the two of you have the relationship that you do. I've been in therapy for 11 years and setting healthy boundaries is the most important thing I've learned, so I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the two of you talk about them so thoughtfully.

I am 73 I was recently in a car accident which was not my fault, however now I am afraid of driving. Now I am trying to live without driving out here in California. I cannot walk without a cane cuz I also have vertigo and multiple sclerosis. I’m trying desperately NOT to be depressed about all my new limitations. My daughters are the reason that I have not committed suicide like I once tried. Now I take antidepressant Zoloft for years It no longer helps. I am sad, lonely, and once diagnosed clinically depressed. Sadly my daughters live far away What do you recommend? I feel old and worthless. Thanks for reading this. (Best wishes on your new channel venture.) I was a teacher and know how Powerful WORDS are. Your loving words reach out over the Internet and help more than you will ever know.
