Hopefully you guys can have a small discussion on how Muslim runners that will begin fasting this week, can train during the next 29 odd days. As a first timer I would appreciate it if u guys can touch in this

How does one return to comrades training (building up mileage) after an illness which you picked up during your recovery period post a marathon qualifier? let’s say you haven’t ran for a week and your previous week mileage was 30km due to post marathon recovery and your target weekly mileage is 60km.

Quick question on nutrition, how do you know what carbs you have stored? Is that based on your breakfast or something else?
@whenwe9168Ай бұрын
A good diet in the weeks building up are good. Then a good pasta the night before and maybe oats before the race and you'll be good as gold.

Lindsey & Brad.. Why are the podcasts and videos title tend be intimidating /threating this year? We will listen to you and the Coach anyway and love your work. But it feel likes whomever chooses the titles.. Is trying to put fear in us... Please relook

This is the sad reality of our times as athletes. The sports scientists bills must be paid. What was once an easy to follow coaching journey for a novice with no vocabulary of athletics at all, has become mental torture. My 2014 and 2015 B2B was partly as a result of the past training of Coach Lindsey, including being co-host club of Soweto Roadshow in those years. Nine (9) years later, I could hardly string the accents together to make sense, save the intimidating titles from a Comrades Coach that gave hope, the regurgitation of past material packaged without disclaimer! We are willing to pay for professional and experienced coaching but its becoming a secondary trauma to some of the athletes in my league who might not even see their first green number because of the increasing costs of realizing this ultimate test of human spirit when the costs thereof begin to outweigh the price of bread and milk!!! We are caught between the rocks and hard places! 100%!

It's just just trying to gain more viewers, just advertising imo.
