This is just a video I needed after approaching a coworker and disclosing a longtime crush. Completely lacking social awareness, I made a less than tactful approach that almost turned into an ordeal involving other people. Luckily, my supervisor was in my corner and helped mediate the situation, so it didn't turn into an unnecessary issue. Although I completely humiliated myself, I still feel better getting out of my system and doing the thing I was avoiding, learning a much needed lesson only gleaned from experience in the process. Now, I actually feel better about myself than I have in a long time and can move on to better options. This definitely was an exercise that released some deeply held trauma despite the undesirable outcome. I can feel a relief of tension in my chest and shoulders that bothered me before.

I'm 21 and I already made nice progress in my life. I still have some issues, but I stopped being a loser and people start to respect me. I actually became a really social person bc of self-improvement and I like to meet up with people and talking to strangers. Approaching girls is however still a problem. I actually know most often what to say and I have no problems with asking a girl out, but I really depends on my mood. I used to do charity recruitement on the streets in which you have to approach people all the time. That gave me amazing opportunities to hit up on cute girls even when I wasn't planning to sign them up, and I most often worked with other dudes that challenged and encouraged me, which added so much more to my hype and confidence. So in those cases it was a piece of cake. However, when I'm tired and on my way home from school, it may go differently. Whenever I feel that I do not look good enough, for example when my muscles are not visible or when my acne is slighly worse, I decide to not approach a girl bc I'm simply scared that I will creep her out, and that will be the worst for both of us in my opinion. For me it truly depends on my mental state

I'm a fairly handsome guy. When I go out dancing with my girlfriend she tells me women go up to her to tell her how hot I am. That was never the case before I went out to go practice socializing. Women rarely gave me the time of day, let alone were excited to talk to me. It's only by developing people skills and true confidence that I started being able to consistently get numbers. It does not matter how hot you are if you can't have a fun conversation. You should absolutely work out, eat healthy, dress better and be on top of your hygiene, but being attractive is just the foot in the door. Ever talk to a gorgeous woman who repulsed you? Same goes for women. Looks only get you a little bit of the way towards attraction. I've met dudes with incredibly attractive girlfriends when they themselves aren't good looking. Confidence and charm. Women want a man who is reliable, competent and fun.

Women or female animals of most species are guaranteed attention and options from the other sex for simply just existing, men or male animals are not. Many people will disagree and say this is the wrong mindset to have, but thats sure how the world or nature seems or looks like, its like women or female animals are the only gender that are guaranteed chances at having dates or relationships, sex, mating, companionship, etc. I remember I got even more pissed off when another guy said this he said " at least the road of doing work has Rewards" Because the way reality looks like is that men are the only gender that have to put in work or effort and receive rewards but women are the reward themselves women get rewards by doing nothing.
