This Orange Mousse is a dream come true for citrus lovers! It's a light and airy orange dessert that melts in your mouth with a burst of orange flavor. In this video, I will teach you how to make this amazing Orange Mousse with just a handful of ingredients and a few simple steps.
Can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Ingredients (for 4-8 servings, depending on the size of your glasses):
• 3 oranges
• 4 tbsp. (50 grams) of sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 tbsp. (25 grams) of cornstarch
• 3/4 cup (200 grams) of whipping cream
Directions:
• Cut and juice the oranges. You will need ¾ cup (200 milliliters) of juice.
• Add the sugar, egg, and cornstarch into a saucepan and whisk until well combined, then add the orange juice.
• Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
• Transfer the mixture into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap, touching the surface. Let it cool completely.
• Whip the cream to soft peaks and combine with the orange mixture.
• Pipe or spoon the mousse into glasses or jars and refrigerate until set or serve it right away.
