I haven't noticed any changes, but I haven't been using thralls much in this version as they aren't really necessary anymore.

Queen bees used to be great for the improved fish traps until they nerfed them. And since they put decay on them and nerfed the amount of bees that you get I don't even bother with the fish traps anymore.

Just build a fat grub farm mate. Build The fertiliser boxes whatever they’re called.. then make fertiliser and it produces a stack of fat grubs in like an hour. Ez fish trap bait

something is bothering me a lot about this game, when trying to cook something sure thing i can see the required ingredients, but why is there no detail with stats in the description right before you cook something? so in order to know what something does you have to craft/cook first then test and decided if you want that item or not, such a waste of materials and time! all of this because they couldn't add a simple description stat or at least a vague idea of what an item will do before you craft/cook.

During the dev streams the Devs have said there won't be any sort of server wipes on their end. However, depending on if you're on PC with mods, that might be another story until the mod makers have time to update their mod(s) for 3.0. Hopefully Funcom will allow them plenty of time to work on things for 3.0 compatibility.

Hey, you can find the recipe where you learn the improved fish trap in the sunken city/dungeon the entrance is a boat in the jungle. And you need breathpoitions or the mask where you can breathe underwater. Hope that helps you 😅

Yes it is back and gives a pretty good buff of +45 encumbrance, so you don't need to put points into expertise unless you are specifically do an encumbrance build.

Offline raid protection has been on official servers for a long time. The ones that don't use offline proc have raid windows; if you don't like PVP then don't play it. There are PVE and PVEC servers for people who don't like being raided. The map is so wide that it takes about an hour on horseback, even with a ton of experience knowing the route, to get from one end to the other. I have over 1000 hours in this game almost entirely in the exiled lands and it takes me well over an hour to get from the dregs to the jungle coast. Siptah isn't much different on foot but the map is more flat so horseback doesn't take quite as long. I don't foresee them making the maps any larger than they already are; They're actually a bit too big for the average population size of PVP servers (10 or so) because no one needs to blow each other up for good resources or build locations when they can just go somewhere else. PVP is designed to be destroy-build-destroy. Not build a secret empire in an unoccupied corner of the map. If you didn't like the game before, 3.0 is not going to change your opinion. It's a stat rework and some sorcery with a battle-pass that pretty much gives banners and other random decor items. It's not a ground up revitalization of the core components of the game, and 3.0 in and of itself is not going to magically generate high sever populations. Games like Fortnite, Minecraft, World of Warcraft and Ark stay alive because they appeal to a wide audience from child to elder, Exiles is inherently a niche 18+ brutal survival game based on a book franchise from the 30s.

The update wont save the game, those that love the game will still play the ones that dont wont play. Some players will come back but others will leave. It's the same cycle every update. It's a 5 year old game, only reason it's still a thing is because there really aren't too many melee style survival games

Agreed. Hanumun's grotto. I can easily harvest a 1,000 crystal minimum there and out produce vs. stone for salt and glass. Stone works if in a pinch. I'd prefer keeping my stone for bricks etc.

Previously, you could stack multiple buffs food and elixirs. That was OP, now you can stack one food and one elixir buff. What you choose to stack now will be more character relevant. For instance, are you playing an Agility or Strength character?
