If I'm being honest i don't have RNG even remotely close to this. I've been playing since January and do best in my tier 9 Chinese WZ 111G FT and run improved aiming (accuracy is .32, down from .40 stock), vents and rammer or GLD on all my tds and I 1) max out the aim unless i feel like risking a snapshot, 2) make sure to aim for weak spots or where my reticle is green (auto pen), and 3) use each ammo type accordingly (FV4005 - HE, 60TP - HEAT, Progetto - AP). 98% of the time I land my shots. If i miss its either because I jumped the shot (my fault), didn't lead the running target by enough (shell velocity is 750 m/s), or it was a pixel shot at 500 meters. Not to belittle the effects of mighty RNG, but in my honest opinion I think what many players call RNG is actually a result of poor patience, long aim time, bad aim, poor accuracy and incorrect ammunition choice. RNG definitely can have a hand in the game, but when you pop out and snapshoot a 60TP or Maus with AP at 350 meters and then blame RNG when you miss..well... I do best in my Chinese tds (win rate over 50%, good/great WN8) and therefore can't use "Russian bias" as an excuse. My humble advice would be to ensure your equipment, crew and consumables are set up to suit your personal playstyle. For my fellow TD players, make certain to max out the aiming circle, maximize the accuracy of your gun via vents, GLD and improved aiming. If you leave no room for error on your part, you'd be surprised what you're capable of. . Just my two cents for what it's worth. I learned a lot from watching Skill and Kajzoo so if my experience helps anyone I'll be glad.
