I’m 20 and I’ve never felt so lost and I’ve been like this for 2 years. I was lost, didn’t know what to do, was lazy, was victimizing myself, didn’t know what I want to have as a career, was afraid of chaos, was afraid to struggle, was afraid to take responsibility, was afraid to be an adult. The main problem was that I didn’t know how to be this person I wanted to be, or how to start being responsible and which pathway was the right way. Then about two or three months ago I ran into Jordan B Peterson then those small words of encouragement made me tear up and cry because I never knew I needed so little words of encouragement. Jordan B Peterson truly turned my life around and for the better, he really saved my life, and is a father figure to me. My whole life in my family I have been the oldest and was raised by a single mother, so it was impossible for me to learn from a older role model, how to do things I didn’t know, I had to figure things out by myself but was so afraid to do so in doing things wrong. I took the easy way which was do nothing since doing nothing is easier than doing something. I spent my time in my room being lazy and afraid of the world. Then Jordan B Peterson taught me to be a better person, how to take responsibility, how to be productive, and not be afraid for chaos and tragedy and to prepared for it. In my moments that I was lost and in a dark place Jordan B Peterson was the light in the dark room I was in, and I’m glad to say over the time of three months listening to his lectures and buying his book my life has changed for the better, yet there is more to learn. All thanks to Jordan B Peterson, the hero, role model, and father figure I didn’t know I needed. My life is better and thanks to this extraordinary man, may he continue to live for years bringing light and hope into darkness and doubt for those who are lost.

geezusispan Even the brightest minds and strongest souls can get caught up in the tragedies of existence. I would think that Peterson was probably very sad and quite depressed ...he always talked about what he knew to be true, but he was never happy while he talked about it. And my guess is that’s because he was one of the few to fully understand and internalize all of the suffering that life had to offer. What a burden that must be. Dr. Peterson offered some larger-than-life assistance to so many people who are dealing with suffering and trying to overcome it. But the pope still sins, police officers still commit crimes, and unfortunately psychologists can still fall victim to depression and addiction. There’s no reason to be so critical of someone experiencing something you know nothing about.

My 5 rules for a stronger mentality Rule #1: Love yourself: Treat yourself like someone you care for, respect yourself, always put your happiness, peace of mind and emotional stability first. Rule#2: you're initially a loner: You dont need others' blessings to live happily. Your selfworth, selfesteem & emotional state are not a function of other people's opinions, behaviours & attitudes. Never beg for attention, approval nor appreciation. Dont stress yourself to please others, and do not change the way you are to suit others' expectations. Rule#3: never doubt yourself: No one is superiour or better than you, Never alow another human being to make you feel or think less of yourself nor disrespect you in any way, weither it is through words or negative attitude. Work silently on your imperfections and care more about how you are going to be tomorrow. Rule#4: focus on your goals & growth: Always add goals to your list and be consistent with them, be with people who contribute to your growth and never with those who influence you negatively. Think of every experience & interaction you have as a way into improvement and learning, analyze the great attributes of everyone you interact with, then try your best to embrace and add them to your character. Rule#5: love is wise & hatered is foolish: Stay away from envy and jalousy, be genuinly happy for the success of others and help them whenever you can. Don't compare yourself to others, love others so you can love yourself, and love yourself so you can love others.

Search for astrology reports and pick a website like astrologycafe.com. look on the site map for free astrology reports and click on, fill in info. You will read unique info only for you and somethings will resonate, somethings will not. it's fYI. 2. Emotions are energy-in-motion. Learn to control your emotions and use them productively. Learn about your Chakra system and learn to meditate. Learn deep breathing and how to decalcify your pineal gland. These things will help your emotional health. Hope this helps.

If you constantly dissect anything it becomes meaningless because the small pieces seem to have no relationship to you or to each other. The only meaning is the successes or failures which reflect back that which you've invested. Asking yourself what something means often puts you above, ahead and outside of yourself rather than in yourself moving upwards through the experience of tuning in to evolving and self betterment. The body, mind and spirit must be united and integrated. The mind asking why refuses the other two by refusing to take responsibility for the experience. Things are what they are and the brain denies their quality and character and calls them arbitrary abstractions. Maybe the world isn't wrong, maybe it's the brain that has gone wrong in refusing that which is. That which is already meaningful before the brain asked the question and remains so after it.

I used to come here and listen to these videos at nights whenever I felt alone or perhaps lonely. It was a relief from time to time but I've come to a conclusion by the time. "Life is as meaningful as you fulfil yourself" That is why you get sad or mad and literary seeking for peace, putting your concern at ease and you trying trying and trying but you often break down and crawl toward distractions like p*rn, s*x, or cigar and any other sorts of addiction which it could even be eating food or not carrying about self and then, at the end of the day you feel impurity, defiled, self-loathing. We're all different but still yet have similarities. Make mistakes as soon as possible. Then you'll start learning and bettering yourself and Be unique and stay better. Love you, love yourself. It is just so hard to find any people anymore that are at one with the universe...or who are who they are and do who they are...and are a character... instead everyone is a college cookie cutter or worse a social media addict. Anyway, he just reminded me of real people and they are very rare.

I like the part where you talk about arguing with your spouse and how you're such different people and see things completely different. We've been married 22 years and We have the arguments. We get loud and angry and we do resolve it. We say the things that need to be said, we don't hold back. We respect where each of us is coming from and we always come to some sort of an understanding. But I'm so happy to know that we are "normal" that arguing and disagreeing is normal because I often wonder how on Earth are we still married, how do we make it work? I can tell you that we are very happy in our relationship because we know that the alternative would not be better and we really do love each other and want to be together. We also laugh a lot, tease each other and everything we do, we do for our kids and our family... that is our common bond. We have a desire to grow old together and to make this the best life we can... we are a team and partners in crime... we can depend on each other and I could never have that with another person.

Ima be honest, I hope this doesn’t cause anything bad so don’t take this the wrong way. In 500 years the possibility that anyone will remember you is very low, and even then at 1000 years and beyond there will eventually be a time that no one will remember you or care about you at all. So identify what is pushing you down and fix it. Because you have nothing to lose, so why not try? If you have no friends, go try to make some. if you’re in bad shape, get in better shape, stop caring, life is a gift. Try to think about 5 embarrassing things done by someone you know. I bet you can think of 1-2 tops. Now try to think of 5 embarrassing things you’ve done. I bet you can think of more. So using that logic realize that no one remembers your faults because they’re all too busy focusing on their own. When you have a drive and passion for something motivation will materialize out of thin air. Hope this helps

I went from a typical happy person to someone who now stops and thinks wtf happened. I built some self destructive habits over the years. Went from living with my dad and when he remarried my stepmom at the time kicked me out. I lived with my sister who used drugs with her friends in front of me, then to living with my mom and watching them drink all day. I said never would I do this. My dad died young a few years later and I let go and got into pills really bad and along with that comes other bad habits. I fixed a lot but have a ways to go. I guess my point is be aware of your environment and learn real ways to deal with stress and learn to thrive. Instead of succumbing to life
