I WAS 14 YEARS OLD AT THIS TIME.
I hadn’t even been rapping a year and I was already full obsessed… it was my lifestyle.
In later years in high school I can remember making my first dollar off rap purely by being known as someone who raps and school student groups would use their small budget to have me perform…
Again this is before I had ever even released a song.
THAT was a lifestyle even back then…
And yet I know this isn’t something wild to flex on, like…
“Oh wow you got paid a few bucks from a student group”…
But YEAH DUDE…

Never have I said "I wanna be a rapper. " I'm GONNA be a rapper, even though I've not even recorded a song yet, I've been obsessed with getting started since I realized it really is possible. You gotta start writing & recording your ideas either on your phone or on paper , over time you will get better at organizing your ideas & presenting them in a way that is understood to all ears. Another Tip : your songs , your ideas , your visions comes from what you are aware of & what you know about life , communication , yours & others experiences & things of that nature. I’m the exact type of how you say you are , that you wanna learn so much about a topic before you actually start showing the world or doing it yourself. I’ve done this to myself all of my life in all the things I put myself to study but I learned one important key on it & this is the way that I stick to now , you gotta just start doing it & over time you will get better but your mind & heart already have to be there doing it before your body can show up. Build yourself a solid foundation of knowledge of whatever topic you wanna master or have as skills in life then from there do the work & you will get better from listening to other & messing up time after time. I have no intent of being a musician. But when he said dreaming, I literally dream. I often have dreams where I hear a hit single on the radio, I'm the artist performing at concerts or I'm listening to an album through my headset. When I wake up I write the lyrics/hook down as fast as I can and it gets stuck in my head for a couple of days, but then it's gone. Can't remember the instrumental. I wish I had the talent to produce beats and bring the songs to reality. Same thing goes for painting. I'll be at an art gallery or someone's house viewing a painting, and tons of people will be lined up to view this "master piece" painting. It's mine in the dream, except I don't paint though. Oh well.

Bro I'm a fan from Ghana, West Africa. I also have this kinda feeling but I don't know if it's only me or basically every underground rapper feels the same way. It's like anytime I try to write, when I reach somewhere in middle then I feel like 'this rap is not nice' so let me stop and rewrite a different one. It’s not a flex but I can write a whole verse in 5 min so writing is not a problem to me and I can also sing. I haven’t taken any classes but I will try. But the problem is that I don’t know any producers, so I can’t just make a random ass beat and rap on it. And I live in Sweden where they rap in their language. So it’s hard to find a rapper that raps in English out here. And their beat is ass like it’s not sum beats that you can rap on them, just sing or a lil rap. So I really need help😭
