TheRcSaylors Oh thank goodness, you said you’ve had this awhile... I was having a moment of confusion, lol! I was thinking, “Wait-wait-wait, you already reviewed this heli; that’s why I bought one, way back then!” BTW, mine worked well for about a dozen flights, then the tail motor gave out and she spiraled to the ground and snapped the tail boom. 🙁

I have one of these and smoked the battery on the second charge. The power wire on the connector is reversed and if you use a standard charger as I did it will cook the battery. Very few companies do this I have only seen it on JJRC stuff so be careful and use the included charger. I soldered a second connector on to the batteries that has the wires the right way so that I can use my big charger.

*_Dogonit_* , Nate! I have one and have owned it for a few years. $60 shipped and it's a beauty. I cannot fly it as well as you though and could never take my hands from the radio like you've done! Nonetheless friends, I haven't crashed it so often but _have_ had some nasty spills. Good thing to know is that I also haven't had to replace a single component and I'll call it tough! I bought a small pack of three 1s Tattu batteries to accompany it and I'm good forever. Thanks for reminding me to bring it back out because I have no winds where I live and especially in the backyard. Perfect time of the year to give it a rip and get better. It's a good buy, viewers! Funny thing is I'm watching your next video that was was cued and sure enough - also have a Sport Cub that I've never flown! Same one you guys are showing...it's time to send it! You guys help my confidence in the air so much.

I'm still trying to understand why Eflite made this Not Spektrum compatible. I understand it's inexpensive enough to have a transmitter included with it but why not? Anyway can you shut the autolevel off? Also hows the resolution on the transmitter? I've had little transmitters like that in the past and there is always a big dead spot around stick center.

Hey Nate and Abby thank you. for suggesting this little guy at the airshow in Illinois last year. I have had a great time with it. And it just keeps on going
@randysmith17234 жыл бұрын
Just got this one very recently, and I agree with your review 100%. One thing I did, which I found on an rc blog, was to solder an extension wire with JST micro connectors. This allowed me to route the female end outside the canopy and attach the battery with adhesive velcro on the underside of the canopy. This way you never have to take the canopy off every time you install a battery, which was a big pain for us folks with big hands. It also opens up other battery options, but I wouldn't recommend going higher than 200 mAh because of the weight and changing flight characteristics. But a little bit bigger battery does give you a minute or two more fly time.

Folks, this is a WONDERFUL little copter, and you just can't beat the price!✨😁✨ I have THREE and it is so much fun flying with others, especially inside the house, navigating through obstacles and such; umm, 😱 like SWATTING CAT PAWS!!! You'll get about five mins. of flight time, which is great for beginners. One of the things I really like is that the SWASH PLATE (direction control) is located INSIDE the body, not on the outside near the top of the rotor. This means that there is a MUCH less chance of damage to the linkage of the 'plate'. I would think that THIS is THE little heli for a first experience, especially for a child... TALKING TO YOU, AMELIA! 😁 hee hee As an "Old-fart" flyer of RC devices of ALL types, I just KNOW that this will delight all first-timers, for its flight characteristics, but even MORE so for its durability. You can thank Nate later after you purchase, and also ME for sort of 'pushing' you towards buying one. Well, IF they are available; a truly DANDY helicopter.

One of the most common questions: How long does it fly?
@jamesg99434 жыл бұрын
@Kevin Farley: around 10-15 minutes maybe a little more has been my experience with things like this. All depends on how fast (how much battery power is used) and if it's being flown in much to any wind. In your house or appartment, I'd say a good 15 minutes is a solid number. Good thing the batteries are cheap... just have 8 batteries and you'd have a fun 2 hours worth of flight time. I have 6 batteries for my little plane and I generally only go through 4, sometimes I use a all 6. Hope this helped answer your question 👍

@randysmith17234 жыл бұрын
I have a question for the RcSaylors, or anyone else who wants to weigh in. I have never bought a nice RC truck, and I really like the rock crawlers that I've seen on your channel, especially the Axial Ford F100 that Abby got, and the Redcat Racing Gen8 you both own. If you were to spend your hard earned money to get just one of these, which one is a better choice? I love the green ford f100, and I used to own an International Scout, so I have reasons for liking both. But the build quality of the chassis for both seem to be generally well reviewed. I just don't know enough to know what the best value ( I see that Horizon is offering 15% off on the Axial), which is going to hold up, which is easier to upgrade, get parts for, etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Its variable pitch as the blade pitch changes with its aileron movement. Collectively when the pitch is increased like a +1 degree the heli will start to lift. The speed of the blades remains the same so the pitch has to change in order for it to go up or down.

I'm looking to advance to something else that's a pusher prop type plane or a edf jet. One that comes with AS3X. Reason I prefer a pusher is cause I feel anything with the propeller on the front is bound to break/bend. I don't want the hassle of repairing it all the time. I have a bunch of 3S packs so one that uses those would be great as well. Thank you
