I was 10 when this song came out. It was on the radio every 5 minutes! The Association is one of my top 10 groups of the time. these guys were incredibly talented.

❤yeah I remember that in the early 70's - on 45 vinyl record my older siblings used to play on the turntable. What is a turntable? Vinyl? Cassette tape? 8 track? 45's 33 LP's? HAHAHA those were the days.

I remember when it was new. This recording (it's a remix; not in stereo originally) seems way off balance; too heavy on instruments. They overpower the voices. (Or, it could be just my faulty memory after so many years!)
