@RENABES ARTES : HI Renabes, may I suggest you look at some of the English Narrowboat Channels on KZbin, such as *Cruising The Cut* and others. Your plot of land is bigger than many such vessels, in which couples and single persons happily live all year round. The interior layout (much like a Blue Water yacht) is designed for living in a long narrow "container", and so the problems they have solved by such dimensional constraints may help you in your design planning. It's not essential to have a two storey structure, yet still have the essential living space. You may notice that there is now a COVID-19 *English Lockdown #2* in place, forcing most Narrowboaters to remain stationary. Furthermore, many Narrowboaters choose to live a stationary life tied up to a permanent mooring along the canals, or in a Marina. In addition, you may have noticed something similar in the canals of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Thus have no fear that your plot of land is far bigger than the space that is much admired in Europe, and is eminently useful for living comfortably. You seem to be quite capable of using the Internet and have a good command of the English language, so there are opportunities for you to earn an income electronically by selling items or providing a service to boost your bank account. Cheers!

We don’t worry too much about bugs, we can buy the bug spray applicators that keep the bugs (mozzies and sandflys) out - as for birds, that rarely happens and I feel blessed if a bird accidentally finds it’s way inside. New Zealand doesn’t have predictors like most other countries- no snakes, no crocodiles, no bears, tigers, no deadly insects, etc etc. We are very lucky. @Kristie Venegas : It's a shame isn't it Kristie, that your polite and well intentioned question immediately got hijacked by others who zoomed into your question and simply ignored your need for *an answer from the HOME OWNERS* and started a stream of their own questions. You can simply cut and paste your question again in a new space, delete the old question (and associated self-serving drivel from others will automatically disappear too 😃), or you can just sit and hope the home owners eventually see your question. Your call.

@@BrassLock do you think there is the slightest chance that those "high jackers" may not be quite as savvy with navigating a discussion thread? I can't think of anything to gain by intentionally commenting off-topic. Their comments will only be read by those viewing replies on Kristie's post rather than the entire message board. The homeowners would follow that same course and if they choose to respond, may do so. It's a great question and I do hope they take the opportunity to give Kristie an answer. Cheers!

One of the most beautiful tiny homes I’ve seen so far. The owners also look so happy. Thank you for sharing!

This was definitely my favorite house to build, you guys are so lovely and have made it perfect with your homely touches. All the best and hope you enjoy your new home.

It's amazing to see people taking their lives in their own hands and get rid of the rat race. Just living the dream, financially free and conciously choosing what they do with their energy and time. I love it!! I hope it becomes more popular in my country ❤️

This is one of the best floor plans for a tiny home. So open and spacious with a second loft! Love a floor plan with a separation between kitchen and bathroom.

Another breathtaking view! Nice to see a light colored exterior. Much cooler in the summer and needs the a/c mostly for reducing humidity. Love the soft aqua tile. Very aquatic and soothing. The loft entry is a bit odd. You ventured onto the sofa to get to the steps? 🤔 Nice big bathroom tucked underneath. A terrific house for a lovely couple. Thanks Bryce and Rasa. You keep bringing us great videos. Bravo!

I wondered about the loft entry too. I would have liked to have seen how they navigated it.

You've inspired me so much to built a tiny house for myself. Still being in college I've started saving the very little I can, I hope one day I will be able to build my own mighty little house.
