One way to find out if it's a good brand is to put a little bit in a cup and in the freezer. If it freeze, it's good, if it doesn't, it's not natural

If it’s organic and from and comes from different countries it is most likely not organic at all. It’s harder to take down and that’s why it’s cheaper even labeled as organic because it is sourced from many places and therefore no way to prove it is or isn’t organic.

@@kh485Olive Oil is high in anti inflammatory polyphenols. It also has more than its fair share of oleic acid. To quote a reference from the Dr Axe website - “Oleic acid is needed by the body’s cells for proper membrane fluidity - making sure the cell membrane has a thick enough layer. This is important for fighting pathogens, transporting minerals and responding to hormones. Oleic acid also serves as a major source of energy for our cells, and it’s used for the production and biosynthesis of many essential metabolites.” Hope that is useful.

Olive oil is excellent for your skin which is why it has been used as a rub in the Mediterranean area for thousands of years. I was given a recipe by an Algerian friend when he said they add dried Figs to a jar of Olives in oil and leave for three days before eating. Another day to go before I try it.

2 tablespoons a day doesn’t work if you’re trying to lose weight. That’s a lot of calories! Also you shouldn’t cook with olive oil. You can drizzle it cold on your food but don’t fry with it. I know even lots of Mediterranean people (Greeks, Italians, etc) who fry with it and even though they think it’s good for you, it’s NOT good if you’re frying or cooking with it. Just drizzle it cold -!!! If If you do need to fry something, use a small amount of grass-fed ghee. End of story.

I’m a bit skeptical. Does the accent of the narrator add credence that guzzling oil will be a panacea? Olive oil is a processed food low in nutrients and phytochemicals relative to total calories. You are probably better off eating more fruits and vegetables and exercise more. I’m sure more oil consumption will pad the wallets of olive oil manufacturers. Most oil consumption will go straight fat storage. Most people are too fat as it is. Much of the olive oil on the market has been shown to be fake.
