Wow, this video really highlights the incredible challenges faced during road construction! The view is breathtaking, but I can’t help but think that working on such cliffs seems a bit reckless. I mean, is it really worth the risk for the sake of a few extra miles of road? Safety should always come first, right?

A simple 45-degree brace structure added below the overhang could increase the load capacity by 80%.

Rather then cantilever the road out from the mountain, I would push for cutting more material off the mountain itself to build a wide road. Seems it would be more solid and less prone to fail over the years from metal fatigue... JMHO

great video, really well done! it's fascinating to see such complex projects, but i can't help but feel that some of these cliffside constructions are a bit reckless. do we really need to take those kinds of risks for a road? safety should always come first, right?
