Steven McRae is the greatest male dancer since Baryshnikov. Stunning partnering, incomparable technique and outstanding panache. I have seen Rojo in other performances and she never seems to look very happy or engaged with the audience - though she danced beautifully here.

Wow - I have never seen anyone who can spin like Tamara - when she came out at 10:44 - she was spinning like a top. The coordination between the two dancers in the last act was terrific.

These two are fabulous together & their mutual concern for each other is obvious.....they richly deserve the encores. When they were first partnered, they looked like two rather small but athletic dancers. Well, they've lost the 'baby fat' and they are exciting to watch. One of my favorite couples, exciting to watch!

So beautiful! Very professionally, controlled & skilled, yet graceful, smooth, eloquent. I feel that the dress added to the beauty. It provided another element of beautiful motion. Perhaps those who criticize her dress are purists, who feel that the traditional tutu's way of being fixed in relation to the body, like the dancer's nose, is the only way to do it, but this dress is like an additional limb, which provides motion, like an arm or a leg.I find that an improvement over tradition.

ive seen him many times live, never failed to amaze. great personality , a bit like a Baryishnikov can do anything including tap dancing, looks so natural with a cute smile. Shame as at the end of last season had an injury and was getting back to fitness when all this horrendous change of lifestyle set in. Just hope to god i get to see him live again and indeed any ballet, miss all my trips to live performances terribly

Marie-Agnes, Aurelie and Rojo. I love to run all 3 over and over. As an amateur fan of ballet, not crtical but Raymonda is my favorite. PS --- This is not to say, that this was not good dancing. Tamara is always fantastic. Always great to see her dance; for that she does. She gives it her all. And, no other ballerina "goes for it". She's that courageous. Love her.

Lovely video. McRae's qualities as a partner are seldom commented on, but he's very good - secure and so forth, but he also keeps his ballerinas mood relaxed. I cherish the moments between scenes when I see the ladies laugh at some remark he's made.

Oh my, there were moments here where Mr. McRae reminded me so much of Sir Robert Helpmann! Perhaps it is just the hair and makeup? Or is there something of Australia that shines through in both of them? Perhaps Mr. McRae is too young to have met Mr. Helpmann, but it is a wonderful legacy to carry forward.

I think the costume is interesting. it take us apart from the childish, boring, pancake tutu Raymonda, and Tamara performs a mature, even seductive Raymonda. Besides, when she turns (obviously the designer knew she is a great turner) the skirts goes up and u can see different colors from blue to white. Very nice performance :)

No doubt Tamara is a true beauty and a GREAT! ballerina. The BEST! However, something did seem a little off. I'm not sure what it was, nevertheless, I can watch her endlessly; she's that good.
