moresnare it's two people from the same culture, American culture, making a common business transaction. It's not magical, it's the way America has been from its very Inception. This guy just happens to be able to speak her language which is kind of neat, but at the end of the day all of their children will speak English. That's the way of being an immigrant and becoming assimilated in the new culture you have chosen to live in. While accommodating to your new country, you keep _some_ of your traditions of course, adjusted to be acceptable in America like the ingredients in many Asian foods are different in America than they are in the Old Country, but that's part of becoming an American. Is accepting the *new* culture and accommodating to it while remembering where you came from but _not putting that above_ where you are from now. Everybody benefits that way, the children will fit in well with the rest of American culture and live a more prosperous and healthy happy life, so the more they assimilate and integrate into American culture the better it is for them, and Society benefits as well by having another citizen who actually picked America to live in instead of just being born here, and their integration helps Everybody by conforming to the majority of accepted American practices. The people that live in little enclaves and refuse to assimilate are the ones that tend to have problems. If you come to America, be an American and do all those great and fun things that this country allows and was founded on!

As a Chinese person, what I’m really impressed about is the fact that he can speak Cantonese. Like I’m canto myself but from what I know, Mandarin has 4 tones in speech while Cantonese has about 9 in comparison (correct me if I’m wrong lol). But usually, if someone were to be able to speak Cantonese fluently they would have to practice the language at a very young age or live in Hong Kong for many years to pick it up well (hk is the one place in China where majority of ppl speak canto). I studied Cantonese for 11 years, but even I’m not very fluent because I chose to speak English instead of my native tongue. Props to this guy though, he would have had to study and practice for a longgg time to reach even a basic level of conversation, but I feel like he’s advanced farther than that.

I think he is mixed race and favors his black side and one of his parents taught him...... you have to be saturated in a foreign language to conversant with the natives if your 1st language is english......... that shit isnt as easy as Spanish its not even a western tounge....

Also, they both said China has many dialects, or at least that's what the translation said. China has many languages, not dialects. Just like Europe has many languages. Mandarain, Cantonese, and Fujianese are also languages not dialects. Just like Spanish (Castilian), Italian, and Portuguese are not dialects.

I watched a lot of his stuff sometimes more than once. He seemed like such a wholesome soul and kind hearted person. We needed this man in this world. He was taken from us to soon. I didn’t know he passed until recently, and when I found out I was furious. I cried for someone I didn’t even have the pleasure of meeting, that’s how much he touched my heart. We’ll miss you Mouse.
