@@stiffplaysgames9999 Blacks in America aren't exactly known for their successes and achievements except for a very few compared to other races. Therefore if you see a black man in America speaking these languages then it becomes more of a surprise because this is quite uncommon to see the 'stereotype' minority of America outshine the majority in this field. On a side note, I live in Orlando Fl and have spent many years working at Disney and Universal. I've never seen a black tour guide in either park speak any of these languages. Disney and Universal being the 2 global family tourism center points of the world. In retrospect here in Orlando the majority of Blacks that are of American black descendants are very rare nowdays. The vast majority of blacks here are originally from some country in the Caribbean mainly Haiti and Dominican Republic. It's rare to see a black man here not know Spanish or Creole. We have 1 Creole station and a dozen Spanish stations on FM radio.

6:41 literally priceless moment. I've never traveled more than 450 miles from my hometown and, living in Brazil, this means almost nothing at all, but I really try to imagine the sensation of being far from home for too many time, struggling to learn a new language and, most of the time, with no one to talk your native language to sometimes relax, or even worse: having to deal with the xenophobia or the aversion to foreigner (maybe because of people's shame at not knowing the language), and then you meet someone that spontaneously talks to you in your native language. It's heartwarming. I don't know if English native could understand what I'm trying to say, because the English is already a universal language and to witness some foreigner trying to speak English is the usual, because this language already have its global recognition and its value. So, when the contrary happens, it can be really gratifying. Each wide and true smile Laoshu gets back is the definitive proof of this.

I love it man, I've been trying out Russian because it sounds nice. I'm only a beginner but hopefully I'll be like you some day
Yes .... yes he works for the CIA people...ive watched all his vids and i confirm. Or he swallowed a translation machine. So impressive 😭

Yeah this one was good like the second one. I really like that he had like a theme going on and made a compilation of people thinking moses is a spy. That was cool. ... Alright so we're 4 contestants in and I still can't get over the fact that the first guy filmed his monitor like wtf

@@ApertureShrooms Everyone from the Balkans are living in a past and that's why we have a '91. mentality. Things change, live goes on, fucking deal with it. Yugoslavia wasn't good, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia now are not good. But stop living in a past and just fight for a better life NOW! Bunch of crybabies, everyone want things to be better but noone want's to do anything about it. That's why gouverments fuck us in the ass my friend. Welcome to the 2019!

Dude. Literally made my day to have come across your videos. I’ve tried it all. One program came pretty close but I was easily discouraged but the amount of time it took to get as far as I did with Korean. Japanese, Cantonese, Lebanese Armenian and French are even more elementary. I have so much respect for what you’ve accomplished.

My Dad told be that learning Mandarin is hard but Cantonese is easy. My Dad would be considered a polyglot because he can speak like 8 languages. English, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Sundanese, Arabic, Indonesian, and Javanese. I think he's only fluent in English, Japanese, Cantonese, and Indonesian. I'll have to ask him.
@manager-nim26236 жыл бұрын
He can speak Arabic?? What dialect? It's my native language and I'm sudanese
@Chr15516 жыл бұрын
For me as an English speaker it's easier to pronounce Cantonese than Mandarin. There's also a lot of loan words from English in Cantonese. People who have a harder time hearing tones have a more difficult time with Cantonese I think. The differences in tones in Cantonese is more subtle than Mandarin. I'm a musician though, so I can hear the distinct tones.

1:47 "Разрешите мне представиться/Allow me to introduce myself". It was so hillarious))) You sounds really like spyyyy. Nowadays, Russian rarely use it, old-fashioned. But they definitely don't use in such situation.
