I am rather concerned that he has already decreased his shareholding to less than 50%. By accepting the dragons offer he now has less than 30% shareholding. This leaves him wide open to being replaced as captain. Normally, I would accept that this is purely a money making excercise. But this guy is so committed to his company that I feel losing it would break is spirit. Tricky one this!!

While he might have a bit of success, one thing's for sure. He ain't gonna make too much money this way. I feel for him. He is WAY too nice to be running a business. He is borderline scammer though. Not only deal made here was canceled later on his side, so he just used this show for PR, he later used this publicity to raise crowfunds of £300k. If it ended here there would be no issues, but later he fucked all of the original investors and forced them to sell shares under clause of "if majority holders sell, you need to sell as well". That would be all fine as well, but that majority basically sold it to themselves. This is borderline scam and there should be lawsuit against him for that. dailybusinessgroup.co.uk/2017/02/37947/ fantasyequitycrowdfunding.blogspot.com/2017/12/flavourly-pivots-but-fails-to-heed_18.html It is likely he declined dragons offer later because he knew that he would not be able to fuck them over like other people. Very dishonest business practices.

I'm watching all these old episodes from years gone by and then I look up the company accounts/filings. The almost certain pattern is that (1) these companies always make huge losses year-on-year and/or are dissolved and (2) any investment offers in the Den never come to fruition. Perhaps when the Dragons do their due diligence they get put off after finding out how bad the company is doing or other matters.
