It can be difficult balancing function and beauty in a tiny house on wheels. Seth and Claire struck an ideal balance in their DIY tiny home, the ColOregon. With their endless creativity and resourcefulness, they created an incredibly functional space for all their essential daily living activities. They truly maximized every inch of their bathroom. And their kitchen prep space is probably the largest we’ve ever seen in a tiny house. It expands easily with a simple fold-up counter extension and fold-down table, that doubles a dining space that seats five. Perfect for hosting friends for board game night! Even with all these multi-functional elements, their tiny house feels very open. Seth and Claire’s décor is rich yet uses the same color scheme and pattern motifs throughout. Like most of us here, I watch A LOT of TH videos. They seem to all look alike at some point. However, it was a joy to tour this one and hear the design challenges and solutions Seth came up. Seth you have created an amazing home. I love how you have created ways to hide things out of sight and made things with duel purposes using very unique solutions that are really brilliant. You have created a real home for your family and the thought and love is seen in every inch of the home. So many houses tiny or other sizes lack the personality and love that you put in yours and that’s why they are just a house and your’s is a HOME. Just looking through the comments it shows you that you could easily create your own business with designing and selling plans for tiny homes if you didn’t want to develop a business that also builds and sells them. Great ideas! Love the spice rack! Myrtle wood is beautiful! Wonderful chalkboard table! Great pantry with mechanics behind! Bathroom is amazing with mirror hiding a broom closet & towel holder in & out of shower & not forgetting hidden cables & magazine rack! You guys did good!

It would make the loft hotter and too much light for a sleeping area. If your need to close it most of the time with a thick room darkening shade - they have one. They can leak, too.

This tiny home has several things that they considered that the industry should think about incorporating into builds. The hair care niche and the magazine rack in the bathroom walls. I actually like the way they installed the barn door rails. The laundry area in the bathroom is well-thought out. I also like the light switch incorporated into the fixture. Thank you for sharing.
