Yes, and hopefully a lesson to others, don’t be embarrassed, if you bring them to a rescue in person, they’re not going to shame or judge you. it would be safer for the pigs to be brought in somewhere rather than being abandoned outside, also then you could give any info/history of them ✌🏼

I'm allergic to my piggies but I'd never abandon them like that ): they're helpless babies and pretty much anything can kill them. People expect them to be easy to take care of just because they're small...once they realise it takes a lot of work and care, they get rid of them just like that...they're not objects...really unfair
@skyd12075 жыл бұрын
I'm allergic to my two pigs too, but I feel responsible for them and would hate for anything bad to happen to them. They are so comfortable with me I would hate for them to be scared. I just wear gloves while cleaning cage, keep their hay outside and wash up right away after holding them.

Allergies are a symptom of a an obstructed and therefore overreactive lymphatic system. Just needs some motivation knowledge and discipline to get it cleaned out. I can relate to this owner. I spent eight months trying to find hay I wasn’t allergic to, and my allergies progressively got to a point where I would have asthma attacks when I would clean their habitat. My friend who’s a vet offered to take them on a trial to see if my breathing improved without having them in the apartment, and we ended up deciding that they should stay with her and her husband permanently. I felt bad about it, but she said it wasn’t a moral failure. And I did the best next thing for them.
