Jamming this so much. People are complaining about changing sounds, but in reality, rock as a whole is changing, and that's not a bad thing. We've only heard three songs- let's not judge the whole album yet!

Gotta love how they evolved, added more electronic sound, but still heavy guitar riffs and Gustav's voice remain the main focus of their music. Ones and Zeros is going to be a brilliant album. GIVE IT TO, GIVE IT TO MEEEE! :)

THIS SONG, this song, is amazing. It's so Young Guns, but still it's new, fresh and clever. I really like what I'm hearing, glad to be a fan, thank you so much YG!

Music is Art and Art is the freedom of expression. If they convey their music in a different way than what they used to do, let them. Why would artists make music that's not "them"? If they do, then they'll be suffering playing songs they don't even like and who would bring suffering to themselves? And about the Fall Out Boy thing, yes they are more mainstream than ever but if that means they'll be a band for a longer time, then let them be mainstream. The music they make now, looks as if it makes them happy and people do like their stuff. If they continued with the "old" music then no one would be able to connect with the songs cause the band wouldn't be able to connect with those songs too. They are withholding their true emotions and they're basically just "selling out" What I'm trying to get to, is that artists make art which they like and are happy to present to the world. We have the option as the audience to listen to it or not, they're not forcing us :)
@TheFortyFiveFix9 жыл бұрын
ilovehazelnutty Completely agree, except a lot of artists don't make art they love, they just release whatever's going to rake in the biggest pile of bills. Not necessarily saying that's what these guys are doing, just thought it was worth pointing out.

FortyFive Fix Yeah...some artists love the money more thank the music. I've met these guys twice and seems like they genuinely love the music they make. Happy for them :)

More overproduced pop rock. And people were saying Rising up sounded like their old stuff, not sure what they were smoking!! Fall out Boy could have easily released this. Such a shame, band has so much talent.

When they released a song "in the night" i remember it was one of the first songs. From then i knew and said it in theyre coments that these guys will become big. I wasn't wrong. Stop listenin to this bulshit "fans" that your new sounds sounds pop and not cool. WTF? These guys mastered theyre style. You need yo keep up with the band not with old sounds.

Thiago Araujo I like the older stuff of both. Really gone flat now though, they've lost all credibility in my eyes unless the rest of Ones and Zeros is better than this track and Speaking in Tongues (which is much better than this).
