If he was a college professor, the class would fill up every semester. The metaphysics of sound, vibration, rhythm and music by Young Guru. I'm down for that.

He speaks so wise and acts like (excuse the pun) a guru but i seem to be confused as to why when he is with other people he acts so "gangsta" almost. Someone explain please?
@grayscale155610 жыл бұрын
probably just wylin with the homies. people act in a professional manner when in a professional setting, but when you're with the homies you just do whatever.
@slickwatts10010 жыл бұрын
its probably cause you're a bigot who stereotypes black people, guru never acts gangsta and i've never seen him come remotely close to promoting violence
@rosshall850810 жыл бұрын
Maybe gangsta was the wrong word but he does become more street and more layed back when on here its like scripted.
@theclassick110 жыл бұрын
Ross Hall it's called a man adapting to his environment based on what he is doing. Black men just happen to do it better due to survival mechanism. Do you act the same way in the comfort of your home than you do maybe at work? You say maybe gangsta is the wrong word, but it seems you have a biased perception about rap and black men as well. Not your fault, it's just a learned behavior that many like you share. Rarely are men of color portrayed in intellectual settings. Not even the President of the US. Here you have a man who was the top 10% of Harvard Law and undoubtedly can be considered the smartest president the US has had in over 30 years maybe with the exception of Bill Clinton yet he is often considered unknowing. The only reason is because he is black but when that is stated no one accepts that reality because most want to believe that racial disharmony no longer exist. It's all in black individuals mind and/or they play the race card. You words alone validate what I'm stating. "He speaks so wise and acts like a guru". All that was missing was 'for a black guy'.
@rosshall850810 жыл бұрын
I never once thought about the colour of his skin when I made that comment. I would of thought the same if it was a white guy but maybe I'm just reading to deep into things and I guess different people bring out different characters in human beings, my bad for asking to many questions I guess.
