I bought my wife a 1931 Model A Roadster . We love it what a machine.

I know a lot of younger folks who are wanting these Model A Fords and other early cars! I LOVE this! I adore Model A Fords! I have quite a few 1920s Cars and have got a lot of them back on the road, the one thing I pray for is that they will keep making the parts for them! I am having issues getting the parts I need at present, like 2 blade fans and other parts!
@ModelA3 күн бұрын
I am also thankful for the parts we can still get. I hope it continues. A temporary shortage of certain parts happens.

I was mostly into 60s fords but the taste moved prewar and looked at Packards , Lincolns and Auburns. The model A support is what lead me steer to this car. I wish there was Shinn family to support my other brands

I live in the Miami Area and I agree that the traffic here is terrible. My modern daily driver was hit in a parking lot and is now being repaired by my insurance. I don’t own a Model A yet but I can definitely vouch for everything he said. Thank you for posting this Paul.

So John, first, let me say that by owning a model A, you're on your way to discovery. Second, everything that you do to your "project" is an improvement to it. I would suggest updating the lighting. Head lights, cowls, tail lights to LED's. When you fixing a unit from the car, the operation and design just makes sense, in most cases. Wait 'till you want to teach your wife to drive this fine piece of machinery.

Fantastic interview Paul, next year I’ll be in Miami and will be great to meet him. Very informative and convincing interview. Model A here in Curacao, really is a very much liked vehicle, and people really are impressed to learn how these prewar models were designed and operating till the day of today and beyond. Model A is an icon of the automotive world. Thanks Paul. Regards to Mrs. Tina.

You should have interviewed David Welch, he’s young, he also lived in Southern Florida, he actually drove his car to the Keys 4 times (once accompanied by a 1919 Model T), and is passionate about the hobby, not as a wacky money-making venture. He literally just bought his second Model A. Why you ignored him I’ll never understand.
@ModelAСағат бұрын
I did not know he existed. Definitely not ignoring anyone. If he reached out to me the way John did, I'd interview him.

recently was allowed to put "nova the chocolate 4door" in a parade this was the first time i was ever able to drive it more than the end of the road and of course the people put me at the front. it was the most fun ive ever had but wont be able to take it on long form drives because i cant afford tags and cant afford to fix the structural duct tape. hopeing to beable to join mafca soon but cash is tight and i need new headlight reflectors.

If I wanted a Model A with air conditioning i'd invest in a Shay. With barely 40HP as is the compressor and alternator with grab at least ten of them.

You'd be surprised how well a high torque Model A engine can adapt to AC loads. I know a lot of people running AC and it doesn't seem to affect much. Swap to a 5.5 head and it totally cancels out the AC load.
