This interview actually made me feel something for him. He seems so innocent and I hope someone guides him and not take advantage of him. When people have children or decide to give birth you need to really want to be a parent because then kids grow up not having all their needs met and end up being left behind…it’s so unfortunate and unfair.

For real. We can send billions to UKRAINE but we can't help our beautiful homeless Americans 😢
@anniehope8651 Жыл бұрын
@@blueskiesmom1323 By only sending money to Ukraine, and no people on the ground, America is preventing a lot of new homeless addicted vets. Sending money to Ukraine is one of the best things you can do for the (future) homeless. Also, ddicted people can't be helped with money. They only thing they can be helped with is detox, and there are plenty of facilities available. It's just that people can't be forced to detox. These programs could be arranged a little differently to have more effect, but a lack of money is not the problem here. The type of addiction is. I know there are many fellow Europeans looking at these videos and worrying about this major problem that America has. Many of them are donating. But if Americans don't have any respect for the major problems we have here (the whole of Europe and Africa are suffering under the situation in Ukraine) why would we care about these people suffering in America? If Russia wins this war, they will attack the next country, which probably will be a NATO country. Then the US has no choice but to send boots on the ground. Sending money to Ukraine now is just a way to prevent that. It's for your own benefit in many ways.

He clearly was born into a household full of drugs, poor upbringing, was distracted from finishing school, got into drugs to the point all were living with Grandma until she had enough, knowing they need to change themselves or she’s enabling everyone. Now left to figure it out with zero support or means to get on track. He looks younger than 20. A lot of these people lie to hide the truth. Makes you wonder 💭

We can only hope he gets to prison quickly for a minor crime but serious enough to keep him locked up for a while. He will detox and will have a chance at a new life when he gets out. If he stays on the streets, he won't get that chance. The addiction does not allow him to want to get clean. It has to be forced upon him somehow, and prison (or jail) really is the only way right now. These people can't be forced otherwise.

So any of us look at these kids who had no parental guidance and understand their feelings of hopelessness. No skills, no support, no hugs or shoulder to cry unabashedly on. it would be so nice just to take one and offer a him chance to see possibilities in his dreams. But by age 20 and streetwise, it would be a terrible risk that he would grab an opportunity to grab some temporary sustenance and run. If only we had a way to know how serious they would be in accepting an offer of a home, family, and work/education opportunity. I would be fine with spending many thousands on giving a young person that chance.

Someone should do interviews like this but give them resources and help them with some encouraging words instead of just interviewing them with questions about there situations it’s clear there addicts. it brakes my heart so many people lost in the world.🙏🏻❤️😢
