*NOTES:* - Don't discount your price to close a deal. But this does not mean you use price to negotiate. - Sell on inventory, not on price. If you have one product, you have a problem already. The way to overcome this problem is to have more products - multiple products; price diversity. This will help you provide your customer with more valuable prices to choose from and not just one price they're forced to choose from. As Jared says, "When you have somebody that's locked in at 50- or 500- or 5-thousand, instead of chasing that number to meet them with your product, you want to show them a different product in your inventory [or a different] package or offer that could meet that price." Give the more price options to consider, and you'll be giving them more value. - If you lower your price, make sure the buy-volume and timeframe makes up for the price decrease, and run a test to see which approach works better. If a lower price produces more revenue than a higher price in a shorter period of time, it's better to stick with the lower price than the higher price because clearly the lower price brings in more revenue in a shorter time than the higher price does. Like Grant said, "Use price to stir up the market. Use price to create traffic. Use price to generate a bunch of activity for a shorter period of time so that you get [more] customers. [...] Price doesn't matter if you have volume [and margin] to go with it." So do an experiment, and see if the lower price performs better than the higher price in a shorter or certain period of time, compared to the higher price. - Learn other ways to build value. - After proposing your price, be ready to handle price objections because this is a norm even for the pros. It’s actually normal to have to deal with price objections in most of the sales deals you go into. So start expecting price objections to come up in most of the sales deals you conduct, and develop the habit of handling price objections. Quote: “Most of people’s price objections - once you’re in a price deal - is just bullshit. They’re just complaining.” - Grant Cardone - Qualify the sales deal, and see if the prospect is the decision maker, if there is urgency, and if they are a qualified buyer. - Always show your prices early on or ASAP during the sales process, and be open to more than one reason about why people will give you price objections - or you may end up realizing you’ve wasted your time on the wrong customer. People don’t always give price objections for common or implied reasons. Sometimes there’s different reasons and even highly, sensitive secret reasons. This is why you need to share your prices as early as possible, or you’ll end up wasting time on the wrong people or people that are not yet prepared to buy from you today. So always share your price or range early or ASAP, and then move onto handling price objections and fact finding. Quote: “You can’t make some people want your product. [....] So keep your pipeline full. [..] You gotta keep your pipeline full so that you find people that find your product/offer valuable.” - Grant Cardone - Instead of discounting your price, add additional valuable freebies that compensate for the value you’re being asked to fulfill. The most important things for you to do is to make the deal work. If the deal works for you, then you’ll make what you’re asking for. Like Jared said, “Add something instead of subtracting the price.” - Keep your pipeline full, or you’ll get desperate. True power in a deal is when you’re able to walk away from it, knowing you can find a better deal somewhere else. This is exactly why you need to keep your pipeline full, so you can always have the power to walk away from a bad deal that doesn’t serve you fair enough or that isn’t sensible enough. - Quote: “When value exceeds price, price is no longer the issue.” - Grant Cardone - Stop relying on “winging it” to build value, and start preconceiving ways to build value effectively. Most people think on their feet to build value, but Jared said you should have a plan for building value. And the way you plan is simply by having preconceived ways to build value when in the middle of a sales deal. In this video, you already learned some ways you can do that. You can use your inventory to offer diverse prices, you can qualify the buyer and the sale, add valuable freebies instead of discounting, get better at handling price objections, get better at closing the sale, etc. Basically, keep adding to your arsenal of different ways to build value. This is how you put together a plan and make it even better over time. Quote: “If you guys wanna make some real money, you’ve gotta learn the sales game. You need to immerse yourself in uncle G’s content.” - Grant Cardone

The little things count bro... I bought a car from dealership and they had like a care package inside....mints, snacks, windshield sun blocker, etc....even mints! I bought that car like 6 months ago and I still have the mints in the console! lol Best part is when I went to fill up for the first time, I opened the gas tank flap....and there was a gift card for $25. I still rave about that dealership to everyone!

I dig Grant and his boys Steve Spray and Todd Straugh as well, but I absolutely do not see what he sees in this dude Jarrod. Hate being a hater, but every time Jarrod gets all high and mighty I'm reminded of the video where he agreed to a guy on the phone's objection to call him back in a month and Grant jumped on the phone and closed the deal. C'mon Man!

True (I remember that), lets hope that he's learnt alot more since then and it's humbly reflected with his interactions with actual people and deals, I'll cut him the slack for his antics on screen ha!

I agree to some degree, playing devils advocate though it more than likely was a set up so Grant could show skills but at the same time make it look as though it is 100% live call, seemed to have worked as most believe that is was genuine but they are so good a selling i have to believe it was a set up call to be able to put on KZbin. But your right Jarrod isn't as smooth as the others it seems.
