Metal is kinda shit at conducting hamon according to hamon users. Anything made out of animal is much better (unless its bone). Threads like wool with a bit of force can cut through a vampire easily while metal needs alot more force to punch through a vampire and i do mean alot more force. I think bullets would lose alot more hamon faster then say a sword ,close range would work but that would defeat the advantage of a gun. But your still better off with wool mitts and punching the vamp. Although if you covered a weapon in wool or that beetle whatever that the be the most effective option imo.
