There are two factors why he didn't finish Pucci off right then and there: - For one, Jotaro had just gotten out of the coma so his strength was severely weakened. Star Platinum still had A in power but what's the point when Jotaro himself is not as strong as he used to be? - for two, C-Moon uses gravity to redirect attacks away from Pucci. We literally saw it with Jolyne twice when her punches got deflected. Jotaro managed to break free because Pucci was caught off guard + Jotaro was strong enough to go through. Let's also not forget Jotaro had no intention to kill Pucci there. He wanted to punch him to make sure he couldn't get up.

He could but it wouldn't make much difference. He would have to hit a vital point to kill Pucci to stop the Time Acceleration, which Jotaro would only have one second to do at that point.

I hate to tell you this but.. Star Finger's range is the same as Star Platinum's range.

​@@papajohns6970Star Finger is not a move Jotaro can use simultaneously. He needs to charge up power on his fingers and then release it. He would be vulnerable trying to do the move. And run out of timestop. So punching is usually what SP needs to do because it is already a really fast stand.

​@@papajohns6970 Star Finger effectively puts all his strength on a single joint which is the finger, and the range is low and the charge up is long, Time Stop is much more useful however it also takes stamina, meaning he cant use Star Finger along with Timestop

Everyone says that jotaro when he first found out he can stop time is the strongest time stop he has but i think its diamond is unbreakable bc everytime jotaro stops time he finishes it saying time 'MAY' resume again notice the may he is allowing it to flow
