Have you guys listened to The Conjuring, Good Mourning/Black Friday or Five Magics yet? Those are top-tier Megadeth joints right there..

First, Dave only rerecord vocal parts on a few songs on the remaster RiP album, not all the song. But he did change the mix on many songs changing the feel from the originals. I digress. Polaris was a nuclear missile system developed by the US and used from the early 1960's until about 1980. Polaris missiles were carried on boomer subs. The song is taking the point of view of the missile. If you like solos, check out "Lucretia" off this same album. Marty plays the first half and Dave plays the second half. Listen and see if you can determine when they switch. If you want more solos, you will need to check out some earlier Megadeth. I would suggest "Wake Up Dead" and "Good Mourning/Black Friday" which has multiple solos. While "Hangar 18" has 11 solos, "Wake Up Dead" has nearly as many riffs. Dave used more riffs on that one song than some bands use on half an album. "Good Mourning..." has several tempo changes. I will also suggest "Rattlehead" off Megadeth's first album, since you both enjoyed "Take no Prisoners". The solos there are mostly Chris Poland, who recorded on the first 2 albums. His style is Jazz Fusion based. He brought a different feel to Megadeth's earlier albums, compared to Marty. Looking forward to some more Megadeth reviews.

You want to hear some good Megadeth bass listen to my last words, family tree, I’ll get even, mastermind, countdown to extinction, or the entire endgame album

Guys, give German giants Kreator a listen. Many people will tell you to go for pleasure to kill, which is really oldschool. But I would say with the album VIOLANT REVOLUTION they they went from strength to strength with so many great songs. Heavy, fast, catchy melodies and great lyrics. And if you wanna dive a bit into the more underground stuff, listen to MIDNIGHT. Lust, filth and sleaze or fucking speed and darkness are bangers to start with. It‘s a one man project and this guy has an output of music that is hardly rivalved.

Just for some context, Polaris is a nuclear missile the US used at the time this was written.

Great reaction Bros, but Megadeth released this Album at least a year before You Could Be Mine... Maybe apologies to Megadeth for even comparing them at all to GnR?😂😂 Just giving you shit lol. GnR gotta lotta hits. But they don't hit like Dave and the Boys!!! Keep up the great content!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
