Season 2 is really emotional and deep and a complete different thing than season 1. I think season 2 is more interesting because it is more about Wilmon and season 1 was like(August and Felice, more rowing). Young Royals has an incredible cast and it is just perfect. I hope there is a season 3 coming because when not I will cry forever.

So true. I'd go as far as saying I liked season 2 much better. The seasons are rather short and season 1 had to build up the story. Now that we're done with that, we know the characters, everything has happened, and now we can just see what happens next. And there's a lot that happens haha, pretty overwhelming at times.

Love where Omar explains (6:01) the way Simon runs away from his sadness by turning to another guy. This helps me relate to what Simon does with Markus. The first time I watched S2, I was very unhappy with that choice on Simon's part.

I had this too! The second time I watched S2 I realized Simon only ever contacts Markus whenever something happens with Wilhelm. At any other moment, Simon just doesn’t respond in days, so Markus really is a rebound and nothing more

@@Jessica_vdn Exactly! Remember, when Wilhelm tells Simon "You don't love me anymore, I'll let you go", Simon is confused, almost devastated, and runs after Wilhelm and then follows that beautiful kiss. So, yes, Simon is clearly in love with Wilhelm, but doesn't want to suffer anymore.

Yes I fall apart crying...brave words from wille .you can't finish something if EVERYTHING is still there untouchable love..wille did everything to get simon back to convince him that he really loves him...thanks God simon made the right decision to go after wille and kiss him..i felt alive in that moment .absolutely season 3 4 5 6..I'm ready to wait for this wonderful series FOREVER ❤

I am so overwhelmed by session 2, even much more than session 1. I am 69, but I see myself in Edvin&Omar, because when I was your age I could not be who I am because of my background (not royal but evangelical). So my heart beats for the young generation wanting them to be real and authentic. The best of season 2 is Williams speech, saw it a lot of times. I am addicted to both characters. You must have a great future because you are brilliant.

And I love that Simon at the end says i'm okay being your secret for a while. It means that Simon finally understands Wilhelm position. For me that is real love, Simon was absolutly right about not wanting to be a secret in the first season but that was more because Wilhelm needed to learn so much more about himself. Season 2 was different, they both grew alot and now it is in a different way. And Wilhelm repaid him by telling the truth about the video. Best ending

This season, showed the complexity of being in love and how things are not always black and white. Both Edvin and Omar have done an outstanding job playing Wilhelm and Simone and portray the emotions really well. So proud of these two cuties.

I liked season 2 more than season 1 and the reason for it is the character growth. Last season was romantic and naive and this one is so breathtaking, complex and overwhelming. I saw Willhelm and Simon grow up. They are not naïve silly lovers anymore. They confronted the consequences of their relationship and now they are deciding if they have this strength and this determination to save this love or will they just give up and seek for an easier match. I think this season is very humane. It shows the true feelings without any embellishment. People lie, they make mistakes because of their fear, they trust the wrong people and they let the good ones go. I liked the storyline with August and Sarah as well. It shows that sometimes feelings are uncontrollable and you fall in love with a person that you shouldn’t and this is how it ends. Very true, very understandable and I think lots of teenagers have found something relatable in this series. Relationships can’t be unilateral, both of the partners have to make sacrifices for each other. This is the continuation of the series I was waiting for. Awesome job, and hoping for season 3💗

Season 2 --- Both Wilhelm and Simon are constantly back and forth --- confused about each other; yet still knowing they want each other so badly. I loved it when outside, Simon keeps edging closer to Wilhelm then they start rubbing noses before their great kiss --- further confusing Wilhelm. [Not giving too much away --- we've seen the nose rubbing and kissing before. 😉 ] Also, I love that both actors and director don't shy away from showing us *_real romantic kisses_* and not just the closed lips that so many others show. 'Wilmon' do a great job in showing how they love each other.

I wish I had the Words of the suffering I went through, when I was 15, half a century ago. I thought and comforted myself with thoughts of suicide every day. This is before "Gay", this is "Queer" as an insult, everywhere. I knew another boy that is Gay who I was in love with, but didn't have the courage to tell. Young Royals 1 & 2 rips me apart, into feelings I thought I'd left behind. I lost my family, and still live in an Ex-Mining town where they too live. To have the touch of someone you love, at development age of sexuality, would have been the best Freedom EVER. You have no idea of the good you do for young developing boys.

Edvin is so great in this role and as an actor and I think he outshines because he has a higher level of emotional maturity and is articulate. Don’t get me wrong I like Omar, but as far as the comparison Omar has some growing to do in the business in that area. To be fair Edvin has been doing this way longer.
