I wish he would just tell Mary the truth. That would just put an end to all this and it's sad when we know he cheats on her later. He seems like such a good man.

He is/was a good man. You can judge people based on the negatives, the positives, or both. It takes an awful lot of correct decisions to raise a family, buy a house, keep an honest job, and all at once. Where it takes many correct decisions simply to maintain a mediocre life, it only takes one or so bad decisions to ruin said life. The few sins that George commits do not change that he was a good man. That’s the point of the character: to show you that life is more complicated than “good and bad people”. George became a pylon, a cog, in his own family. The resentment and loneliness festered. He found a non-violent outlet, and was wrong for using it. And it doesn’t make him a bad man.

sucks he died when sheldon was a young age but to cheat on your wife sure he wanted to have fun and be crazy thats were missy gets the personality from but we all know Marry married the wrong man if she kept being mad george would of been a perfect match but some how god changed her
