I like that Mandy recognizes that her parents are not equal in their marriage and wants better for her and Georgie.

I think that makes sense. We form our baseline for what is normal as little kids from watching our parents, and learn from their mistakes as we get old enough to examin our own behavior and their's. It's understandable that we'd still resemble their behavior to a certain extent as adults.

i hate to say it but Mandy is preaching something shes not very good at herself. When Georgie disagrees with her, she often snaps at him. If she wants to be equals in their relationship, that will have to be solved.
@adityaakaul4 ай бұрын
Tbf in her case, their relationship literally started with him being a lying underage kid and flipping her world upside down. Granted he's been pretty awesome since then but that was a hell of a way to start. Atleast she is seeing what is wrong here and is trying to fix it.
@mevavideos59224 ай бұрын
@@adityaakaul it was both their faults. Georgie shouldn’t have lied, and Mandy being the adult should have known better than to be going around having unprotected sex with a guy she just met while being unemployed and living with her parents.

@@Sweet_Venom0027 not that doing behind their back like Audrey, but he needs to tell something that makes them agree, make them say "he's right." Not being as pleasing yes husband.

@@IamtheMan1111 Except that they both seem to have controlling personalities, they each want their opinion to be the right one even if it's wrong. When Georgie brought up that the doctor Mandy picked was too old to do his job, at first she was upset but when he explained why she reluctantly agreed; there might be hope there. If it were Audrey, I don't think Jim would have even gotten the admission that she was wrong just a mean glare until he apologized. with people like this ya can either: 1. Argue all the time. Because your opinion matters but since they have a stubborn mind, you'll be butting heads a lot. This option isn't for the timid or the tired. 2. Agree with most everything they say and pick your battles. (This is the one my dad uses) Most of the time the decisions will be about things that don't matter all that much to you and you'll cut down on fights and nights without physical love, I have over a dozen siblings. 3. Let your partner walk all over you and pretty much have no voice in your marriage. This one pretty much guarantees that they'll lose all respect for you and think that it's okay to bully you, but hey it's the easiest way.
@IamtheMan11114 ай бұрын
@@Sweet_Venom0027 that's because he apologized, he should telling her something that would make her agree, or tell her something that even if she disagrees, there's no choice but to agree. Also, he tends to avoid the conflicts when he's supposed to side with her or telling something that makes her submit to his reasons, no wonder Audrey treated him like nothing. Georgie made mandy agree with him. Also your three choices are only escalated their controlling, also their defensiveness. When I am dealing with disagreement with my brother, I talk some sense in front of others, and they agree with me and they're siding with me. Also my brother's stubbornness makes them more siding with me than him. My brother is controlling, but he was the most childish. Sometimes I let him taste his own controller personality, and then one day he stopped being controller. Also you need to understand the source of controlling personality. My brother wants to control everything, but he doesn't want to take responsible for his failure, that makes him failed controller. If you want to lessen their controlling personalities, make their choice heavy to them, and take responsibilities for it. At the same time, avoid them whenever possible. That's how I make my stupid brother stopped controlling me.

Mandy is worse at reading facial cues than I am, and I am as good as that as Sheldon. 1:13 It's better to be happily single than it is to be miserably married IMO. Did Audrey just imply that Georgie is NOT raising CC? Audrey is unbelievable. She's been married for decades, she's learned nothing about being a decent wife or mother, and she thinks she's the expert. Jim and Georgie are perfect examples of why I stay single.
