Man I fucking love you guys, y’all’s energy and friendship is not only addictive to watch, it’s rare to behold. I have always been told that out of all the friends you have as a kid, one or two might still be around years later and y’all are proof, that is not always true. That’s why storror is so addictive to watch to me. It’s not the crazy stunts at risky heights or cool water challenges lol it’s the vibe I get watching y’all just enjoying doing what y’all love and being friends in the process. I think the success you all have received through the years has only strengthened y’all’s relationship and trust within one another and it’s honestly my favorite part of watching y’all’s journey. Don’t get me wrong I fucking love the challenges but I would feel the exact same just watching y’all having fun and joking around for an hour. The vibes you All have made me feel has got me through some really low places and i am truly grateful for that so thank you. Big up Mi Boyz Safety Team Approved.

Savage crimp to 180 arm jump from Josh! Bet Drew isn't up for that one; "That's not a grip!". The cat pass that Max was talking about was a lot like the one Klaus killed in the most recent Phat video, huge balls needed unless you're constantly doing downwards cat passes and kongs. The gap he did it over was gnarly too, in addition to the droppiness! Phat are killing it at the moment, time you lads did a challenge collab with them, been a while since we've seen you and Phat together in one vid ;D 9:12 I'd have given that to Callum if he'd managed to crane it and stick lol. That's a tough challenge! And goddamn, The Specimen is getting even more specimen-y lol. What are you feeding him?! UG looks like it would be nice for winter skating too. I'm jealous. Segment around 24:00 with the lache, Josh is just built different, his flexibility in the shoulders lets him get so parallel to the roof and then come back quick enough to get the arm jump. It just didn't look natural on anyone else's try. Though Toby, Benj and Drew nailed it nicely in the end. Sacha's burns are legendary lol.

@@sh4wz0r That is true to a huge degree, but some people have better physiques and nervous systems than others, for certain sports. I've skated for decades and my ex decided she'd take lessons so she join me and her brother when we went out skating, but she just wasn't quite coordinated enough. Though probably not the best sport if you're a little clumsy to be fair. I daresay she would have got better at it if she persisted, but she broke a humerus (bone between the elbow and shoulder) at her first lesson, and that was enough for her. She didn't try again after that. Whereas I've broken quite a few bones, but I enjoy skating enough to offset that lol. Parkour is similar in that the repercussions of it going pear shaped are fairly gnarly and put a lot of people off, in both the short and long term. I think the mental aspect of it is actually the part that makes the most difference when it comes to getting better. You've always got to push your envelope to get better, but not exceed it and get injured. Mentally it's a tricky line to walk.
@sh4wz0r
@sh4wz0r 9 ай бұрын
@@Si74l0rd I'm sure you're right, but I think it's no surprise that two brothers (indeed, two pairs of brothers) who grow up training together constantly would develop the same mindset and reinforce each other's. If you start doing this stuff as a teenager together and it becomes your main focus in life then naturally you're going to get very, very good at it. And with parkour being a fairly niche sport, that incredible volume of training (combined with developing the right mentality and ideally having the right body shape) is likely to take you close to the very top of the sport I think. Even with raw coordination, it's far from entirely genetic - much of it has to do with the level of physical activity you do as a very young child. It was probably close to impossible for your ex to catch you up in that regard and in terms of the amount of practice you'd had.

@@sh4wz0r Yeah, I'd been skating properly for a couple of years by then, using it as my main transport in London. So it would have taken her a while to catch me in any event. I assumed paying for coaching she'd be better than me and her brother in no time, but turned out not to be the case. She was reasonably fit, she did horse riding and stuff as a kid, but she just wasn't very coordinated, and that's kinda essential in some sports. I'm not sure how much you can train dexterity and agility specifically, though I guess yoga or martial arts would help with that. Some comes down to genetics though, especially muscle composition and the percentage of fast twitch muscle you have, as an example. It's worth noting there's a third Cave brother who doesn't do parkour, for whatever reason. I think he's the eldest. Similarly Toby has a brother who doesn't do parkour, but he's gone climbing with Toby and he was pretty damn good, despite not training parkour or climbing frequently. Genetics dictates your musculoskeletal frame, and exercise and training improves on that. Some people have frames that can carry muscle, some will always be more slender and not find it easy to put on muscular bulk. Callum being a gym bro has definitely bulked him up hugely, I don't think the Caves, Toby or Josh would bulk up in the same way. Drew probably would though, and Sacha would too. It's just none of the rest want to be in the gym working out lol.

Had a smile on my face for the whole video. Aging can be such a beautiful process. And then looking back is so cool

You guys really should feel blessed and proud to have so much footage to be able to reference and pull from at any point. something you'll not only be able to show your kids and show the youngins how the parents got down, but also use to give context and depth to your youtube videos for the rest of time! that's something not a lot of youtubers/people get to say nor do! Super dope.

What kind of irresponsible message does the mid video drop ad for merch send? The guys running out of the shop are clearly meant to evoke thugs who prey on family community businesses. Of course they could have paid for the stuff but all the kids watching this will assume they robbed it and the video is filmed so that they will make that assumption. Just because it's stylish, doesn't mean it's ethical. Glorifying this kind of blight on communities is not something you should be doing lads.

This was super nostalgic for me. I actually trained with some of you guys there once back when I was starting out, about 14-ish years ago. It was one of my first times going to another town to train. Seeing all the spots in the video it's all coming back to me 😄 Love the channel, looking forward to the 20 YEAR CHALLENGE video!
